Roles: Junior and Mid

Required Security Clearance: TS (we will up scope to SCI)

Required Education and Experience:

  • Junior:  High school diploma or equivalent experience within related field.
  • Junior:  2-4 years of experience.
  • Mid:  BA or BS degree or equivalent experience within related field.
  • Mid:  5-9 years of experience.

Functional Responsibility:

  • Conduct reviews of all course curricula and developed solutions to ensure security and classification markings are accurate based on Intelligence Community (IC) and NGA security policies, classification guidance, and marking guidance.
  • Work with desktop publishing software including Microsoft Office programs.
  • Implement version control standards for learning content developed by the college and provide quality control over documents intended for publication.
  • Provide recommendations for continuous process improvement in the security functions as the college offers more ways for students to take courses, including web-based training (WBT), and formal and informal learning opportunities. 

Qualifications:

  • Experience with classification management and providing marking guidance.
  • Familiarity with IC classification/marking reference documents.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office tools, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.

Preferences:

  • Experience with working in a classified environment.
  • Experience with the Intelligence Community and their security practices.
  • Ability to be adaptable and proactive.
  • Ability to independently conceptualize, present, and execute ideas in a timely manner.
  • Ability to ensure quality through work products, documentation of activities, processes, and procedures.
  • Possession of excellent problem solving and communication skills.
  • Current TS/SCI

Working Conditions:

Work is typically based in a busy office environment and subject to frequent interruptions. Business work hours are normally set from Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm, however some extended or weekend hours may be required. Additional details on the precise hours will be informed to the candidate from the Program Manager/Hiring Manager.

Physical Requirements:

May be required to lift and carry items weighting up to 15 lbs. Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching and bending throughout the work day.

Background Screening/Check/Investigation:

Successful Completion of a Background Screening/Check/Investigation will/may be required as a condition of hire.
