We’re hiring for a Sr. Manager/Director of Information Security and Governance (D.O.E.) to join our IT Department at our Frisco, TX facility.

Job Description:  The Senior Information Security Manager is a critical position within Argon responsible for all information security technologies and governance processes globally. This is a hands-on role responsible for the day to day operations of all security technologies, the development and enforcement of security policies/practices, and functioning as the point of contact for all security-related incidents. The position requires leadership ability to train, manage, and mentor other security personnel as well as oversee vendors as required. The candidate will be responsible for enterprise-wide information security policies and procedures as well as performing/managing security audits. The position will ensure compliance, and continual improvement, with security, legal, regulatory, and privacy standards.

The Senior Information Security Manager will work to defend Argon’s systems and data against unauthorized access, modification, and destruction. This individual will respond immediately to security-related incidents and provide a thorough post-event analysis. The ideal candidate will be fluent in network and security technology such as LAN, SD-WAN, VPNs, Routers, Firewalls, MFA, DLP, and IDS/IPS systems.

Senior Information Technology Security Manager Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master's Degree in a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience managing information security/tools and compliance in a medium to large global organization.
  • Significant experience in performing risk assessments of global corporate IT ecosystems and developing comprehensive security programs to address identified risks.
  • Strong knowledge of common information security management frameworks, such as ISO/IEC 27001, COBIT, and NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
  • Solid understanding of data protection regulations and standards, including HIPAA, GDPR, PCI DSS, and consumer privacy (e.g., CCPA, Safe Harbor, EU Data Protection Directive, etc.).
  • Should possess, or be within 90 days of gaining, one or more relevant technical certifications (e.g., CISSP, GIAC, CISM, CCNA/CCNP Security, CISA, PCI ISA, etc..).
  • Experience in medical device and/or healthcare industry a plus. 

Senior Information Technology Security Manager must have a strong knowledge of current and emerging cybersecurity risks and innovative risk management methods. This manager must have experience with collaboratively developing a risk & security strategy in conjunction with stakeholders and leading IT policy and control development and refinement across the enterprise. This individual will be fluent in network and security technology such as LAN, SD-WAN, VPNs, Routers, firewalls, MFA, DLP, and IDS/IPS systems as well as standard IT security tools and systems (e.g., SIEMs, PAMs, Pen Testers, Microsoft Security and Compliance Center, etc.).
