Description

RxSense is a forward thinking, growth-oriented healthcare services and technology company that provides state of the art pharmacy solutions. The Project/Senior Project Manager will be responsible for leading cross-functional business projects from inception to completion.  This role is a key contributor to RxSense’s on-going growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Define project requirements by establishing appropriate goals and scopes; identifying project milestones, phases and elements; forming project team.
  • Monitor project progress by tracking activity; resolving problems; publishing progress reports; recommending actions.
  • Construct workflow charts and diagrams; studying business system capabilities;
  • Determine operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats
  • Improve systems by studying current practices; designing modifications
  • Recommend controls by identifying problems; writing improved procedures
  • Maintain user confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential
  • Understand and communicate the financial and operational impact of assigned projects
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Suggest changes to senior management using analytics to support your recommendations. Actively participate in the implementation of approved changes
  • Perform daily, weekly and monthly reviews and analyses of current processes using operational metrics and reports
  • Create informative, actionable and repeatable reporting that highlights relevant business trends and opportunities for improvement
  • Conduct insightful, ad hoc analyses to investigate ongoing or one-time operational issues

Requirements:

  • Four to eight years of experience in the PBM, Medical, or Insurance fields; PBM preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience.
  • Ability to lead projects where team members represent multiple levels within the organization; equally comfortable with an Analyst and a Vice-President.
  • Ability to impact operations and effect change.
  • Detail oriented, analytical and inquisitive; a life-long learner.
  • Ability to work independently and with others.
  • Extremely organized with strong time-management skills.
  • Self-starter; runs until tackled.
  • Possess a strong process mindset; experience in process improvement work and methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma) a plus
