Clason Point Partners Inc. (CPP) is seeking a Program Manager to oversee a government contract in Lee's Summit, MO providing correspondence management, file operations and maintenance and Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) Scanning. The Program Manager will serve as the Contractor's authorized point of contact with the customer and shall ensure contract compliance and satisfactory performance. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Experience in meeting deadlines and coordinating the planning and implementation of project activities and resources using demonstrated flexibility, adaptability, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability and experience in preparing complex statistical and analytical reports.
  • Extensive analytical ability to develop complex statistical analysis, cost estimates and analytical reports.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and organizing skills required to coordinate project activities with contractor and Government representatives, conduct fact finding for special projects and respond timely to Government inquiries, and present oral briefings to management officials.
  • Excellent writing skills to prepare Standard Operating Procedures and revisions.
  • Proactive in informing the Government of significant issues, and be able to respond and take corrective action to issues brought by the Program Manager or COR.
  • Proactive in identifying and recommending new approaches to improve quality, cost, and process inefficiencies

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in one of the following disciplines: program management, business or public administration, technical management, information systems, engineering, finance, accounting, or related fields.
  • A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is desired.
  • Project Management Professional certified by the Project Management Institute (PMI) in lieu of the educational requirements.
  • Six (6) years of overall project management experience; at least three (3) years of the overall project management experience shall be in the Government contracts environment
