Ultrasound Technologist Travel Job:

U.S. Nursing is seeking experienced and self-motivated travel Ultrasound Technologists for a potential strike in the fall.

Ultrasound Technologist Qualifications:

  • American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (AART) certification
  • BLS
  • Minimum of two years experience as a Ultrasound Technologist, within the past two years.
  • Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Technologist program.

In addition you must:

  • Commit to a full 9 days away from home, one U.S. Nursing receives the official 10-days notice.
  • Be available to work ANY shift. U.S. Nursing does not guarantee shift placement.
  • Hand-carry your complete file.
  • Not be CURRENTLY WORKING or IN PROCESS for any Fastaff assignment.

Ultrasound Technologist Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Performing the ultrasound and ensuring the transducer (probe) is capturing images correctly.
  • Explaining the ultrasound procedure to patients.
  • Maintaining ultrasound equipment and sterilizing the room in which the procedure takes place.
  • Evaluating the images for their quality and interpreting what the image captured.
  • Presenting images and preliminary findings to physicians and the healthcare team.
  • Maintaining patient records and adding medical notes related to the ultrasound procedure.
