Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist Travel Job:

U.S. Nursing is seeking experienced and self-motivated CT Technologists for a potential strike in the fall.

CT Technologist Qualifications:

  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (AART) certification
  • Advanced certification in CT or CT registry eligible
  • BLS
  • Minimum of two years experience as a CT Tech, within the past two years.
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology program.

In addition you must:

  • Commit to a full 9 days away from home, one U.S. Nursing receives the official 10-days notice.
  • Be available to work ANY shift. U.S. Nursing does not guarantee shift placement.
  • Hand-carry your complete file.
  • Not be CURRENTLY WORKING or IN PROCESS for any Fastaff assignment.

CT Technologist Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Operating the scanner controls/table and peripheral devices.
  • Reviewing patient charts and radiological history for each patient to determine proper protocol and identify any contraindications to oral and or intravenous preps based on the physician’s order, patient history, and personal judgment.
  • Administering contrast media required per specific diagnostic protocols.
  • Determine appropriate CT Scanning techniques and to assure accurate, high quality images for diagnostic interpretation.
