QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSURES

  • Clearance required: Secret

  • 4 years’ total experience in DoD logistics, as military, contractor or government civilian

  • 3 years’ Warehouse experience (Military or Civilian)

  • Associates degree in logistics management, supply-chain, or Transportation, Storage, and Distribution Management preferred. Experience will be evaluated in lieu of education requirements.

  • Demonstrated Logistician (DL) designation

  • Minimum 3 years’ working on teams consisting of 10 or more personnel (MIL/GOV CIV or CIV)

  • Willing to travel up to 25% yearly to meet mission requirements and contractual obligations.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

These duties and responsibilities will be rated on the Annual Performance Review.

  • Perform complex research, analysis, and defines root cause of inventory stock level discrepancies. 

  • Cross-references regulation, policies and guidelines in order to maintain good command supply discipline and accountability procedures.

  • Assists in coordinating validation and audit on materiel movement and acceptance into the APSR on behalf of the government in compliance with FIAR.

  • Verifies all equipment and materiel transitioning/requisitioned through DPAS for serviceability, correct document number, nomenclature, NSN, and quantity. Work in conjunction with the ICP to ensure oversight on all materiel movement and that it is captured in DPAS.

  • Assists in developing procedures to conduct periodic physical asset inventories, asset location surveys and perform monthly self-assessment audit of inventory in DPAS.

  • Executes Step-by-Step guides for DPAS to assist the government and support contractors in the performance of their duties.

  • Monitors inventory levels and report inventory discrepancies to the DPAS Logistics Management Director (LMD) and Government AIO.

  • Performs inventories and acceptance of all materiel transitioning to DPAS report all discrepancies to the Government AIO.

  • Assist the LMD in creating policies and procedures to transition DPAS.

  • Assist LMD in drafting and implementing policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Desk Top Procedures (step-by-step guides), and internal controls to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations.

  • Oversees the accountable record for materiel and retain inventory balances and document changes in balances per the direction of the AIO.

  • Coordinates with PMO on any condition code changes due to condition of equipment.

  • Supports a team that conducts physical inventories on materiel and retains inventory balances comparing results to the accountable property system of record (APSR).

  • Verifies supporting documentation and data integrity and identify any need for reconciliation on inventory into the APSR.

  • Conducts analysis on existing warehouse policies, procedures and internal controls providing technical guidance to the government lead as applicable to obtain and maintain compliance.

  • Assists in managing reports in APSR on inventory operations, stock levels, and adjustments.

  • Implements inventory schedules which may include the wall-to-wall, cyclic and special inventories.

  • Analyzes the inventory levels of supplies and raw materiel to determine shortages and excess materiel in coordination with the DPAS ICP Team and PMO.

  • Responsible maintaining and filing all records pertaining to programs (both electronic and hard copy) of the DPAS Task Order records, maintaining quarterly program metrics.

  • Performs related duties and responsibilities as assigned/requested.

  • Coordinates with the government client, TMPC senior leadership to proactively improve the DPAS process and the TMPC brand. This ensures timely completion of projects while maintaining quality standards and meeting contract requirements. Helps drive a quality culture that encourages innovation and continual improvement of the DPAS process.
