Job Description and Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for replacing the legacy UC infrastructure of our DoD customer. This effort includes the installation of a new UC infrastructures at Ft. Bragg, NC, Oahu, HI and Stuttgart, GE.
Specific activities include:
Conducting site surveys to determine readiness of site to accept new UC hardware solution
Identification, diagnosis and resolution of Unified Communications system issues.
Deployment and configuration, and test of Unified Communications system components and software.
Deployment and configuration, and test of Unified Communications system monitoring.
Performance analysis and capacity planning for Unified Communications system expansion and upgrade
Coordinate configuration of firewalls and other network security infrastructure for Unified Communications deployment.
Reviewing VoIP related requirements and provide recommendations for consideration and work collaboratively with Manager, Unified Communication.
Review and recommend Unified Communications infrastructure related tasks to ensure data security configuration and management. Effectively communicate both technical details and summarized impact analysis to Management.
Provide documentation, train and support staff.
Develop and implement strategies for a highly redundant and available network for day to day operations and appropriate disaster recovery procedures to support business continuity.

Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
Technical knowledge of Cisco VoIP networking equipment and software - Cisco CCNP or equivalent - with a minimum 3 years experience administering enterprise voice and video networks in mission-critical, 7x24 production environments.
Experience with Video Conferencing hardware.
Experience with Cisco Meeting Server, Expressways, MCUs
Experience deploying and supporting Cloud Unified Communications solutions
Solid understanding of TCP/IP network protocols, including common application protocols.
Demonstrated ability to systematically troubleshoot problems in complex systems and network environments.
Experience supporting IP-based voice and video systems, including QoS on both LAN and WAN infrastructure.
Experience deploying and managing SNMP-based network monitoring tools.
Enterprise-level system administration of Unix or Windows servers.
Experience with Active Directory and LDAP authentication systems.
Familiarity with Security appliances and devices/services such as IDP, Proxy, NAC etc.
Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Provides extraordinary service.
This position requires at least 25% travel
