The Information Systems and Technology Group is seeking a Senior Data Management Specialist with excellent database management, programming and analytical skills for immediate employment in the Boston, MA office. The candidate will provide support to the IT and Marketing departments by working on projects involving Postal and Email hygiene data management, Lead and Customer acquisition campaigns requiring loading and processing of new names and addresses, data analysis, query, report building and auditing activities.
- Daily tie outs of all incoming and outgoing marketing data sources
- Monitor, manage and improve the quality of the data that exists in the company’s Marketing Databases.
- Proactively plan and develop solutions, including but not limited to, mailing and email address hygiene to ensure Marketing and Sales department data is properly maintained.
- Report daily, weekly and monthly on the quality and growth of the Marketing and Sales databases.
- Aid and assist the Marketing department in augmenting the Marketing Databases with additional internal and 3rd party overlay data.
- Facilitate lead generation activities with both the Marketing and Sales department
- Software Development will be required to execute these functions.
- Has full technical responsibility for interpreting, organizing, executing and coordinating all user requirements and assignments
- Additional duties as assigned
- 7+ years AS/400 programming
- Broad knowledge of AS/400 application development
- AS/400 (ISeries)
- RPG (RPGIII, RPGILE)
- CL programming
- DB2 SQL
- Preferred, but not required:: Java, MS SQL or MySQL
- Strong database analytic skills
