Driver CDL Class A Job Description
We are a premier beverage distributor of beer, wine, spirits, and non-alcoholic drinks and our business is growing. We are looking for a part-time CDL Class A Driver to make transfers between our warehouses, pick up from suppliers, and occasionally make bulk deliveries to customers. You will be home each night. Drivers must ensure that all company and safety procedures are followed. The successful applicant will provide superior customer service while performing their duties. Starting Salary is $27.50/hr
Delivery Driver Responsibilities:- Safe operation of company vehicles
- Following the best practices for safety while moving product
- Accurate order fulfillment and product pickup.
- Being on time for dock appointments
- Collection of required payments and/or signatures
- Communicating with office and other team members
- A valid CDL Class A driver’s license
- Physical ability to load and unload heavy cargo
- Excellent vision and hand-eye coordination to stay safe while driving
- Knowledge of how to handle products safely
- Familiarity with using navigation systems
- Time management to ensure deliveries and pickups are made on schedule
