Component Sourcing International is hiring a Quality Technician as a full-time job in Charlotte, NC.  We will offer a lucrative relocation package for candidates with experience in Quality Assurance in the Automotive Industry. 
 
The Quality Technician will perform receiving and shipping inspections, fill out required documentation, and utilize various measurement equipment to perform measurement validations/inspections. This individual will understand AQL sampling plans and inspection sampling plans i.e. QAIP (Quality Assurance Inspection Plan.). The Quality Technician reports directly to the Quality Manager.

Job Responsibilities: 

• Verification and inspection of parts from the supplier
• Interpret and inspect using various drawings
• Review inspection reports - from suppliers and third parties
• Assist in all purchased part approval activities with the internal CSI team and other countries' supply base
• Adjust inspection criteria and approaches depending on the manufacturing process and associated risks
  
   

Job Requirements:

• ISO 9001:2015 familiarity desired
• 5+ years of relevant experience preferred
• Blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge required
• Knowledge of special manufacturing processes such as mechanical assembly, machining, casting, and welding
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations
