CONTROL PANEL BUILDER - Manufacturer (Filtration)
Location: Tampa, FL
Days: Monday – Friday Hours: 7:00am-4:00pm
Pay rate: range is $18.00-$21.00 hourly based on experience

Growing and highly reputable manufacturing company established in Tampa, FL over 20 years. We’re a business manufacturing pure water systems for the healthcare, pharmaceutical and biotech industries. We need to increase our staff of people who can build UL 508A industrial control panels and do point to point wiring on skids.

REQUIRED:

• Experience building industrial control panels to UL508A code.
• Knowledge of wiring PLC's, VFDs, pump motors, instruments and interconnection skid wiring. 
• A minimum of 2 years industry knowledge. 
• Experienced with basic power and hand tools. 
• Have organization skills and ability to start and stop multiple tasks. 
• Good communication skills and ability to follow directions. 
• Excellent work ethic. 
• Read blueprints.
• PLC knowledge is a plus.

​​DUTIES:

• Responsible for wiring and building industrial control panels based on schematic, blueprint, and/or wire schedule. 
• Performing point to point wiring, having knowledge of standard wiring procedures which includes proper wire routing, stripping, crimping of lugs, torque terminal blocks per specification and proper wire termination. 
• Installing the wiring and harnesses within the control panel, running the wiring and cable terminations, wiring transformer. 
• Experience with panel fabrication and build, component lay out, electrical enclosures, electrical assemblies, controls, wiring, is required for this position. 
• Wire and label electrical sub panels and enclosures per blue print. 
• Mount and interconnect components to equipment per blue print.
