Biomedical Technician / Equipment Support Specialist – LEVEL II
Veterans Affairs Black Hills Health Care Medical Center
Fort Meade, SD
A two-year associate degree or higher in an applied science or equivalent military training.
Demonstrated competency to perform operational verification procedures, planned maintenance, and repair service on various medical equipment.
Understanding of regulatory agencies’ requirements, industry regulatory requirements and International Standard Organization standards.
Familiarity with the setup and application of test equipment.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical literature, schematics, and drawings.
A minimum of 3 years of hospital or healthcare experience performing medical equipment maintenance.
Pay Range: $ 31.25 to $ 35.58 per hour.
$ 65,000.00 to 74,000.00 Annualized
Up to 75 percent travel around the Fort Meade SD area (only) on behalf of the Veterans Administration, providing services to affiliated clinics and hospitals.
Contract Length: 1-year government contract with full benefits (with options to extend 2 additional years)
