We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Program & Accounting Associate who will serve as the primary coordinator of all grant, technology, and finance activities.

 

Specifically, you will:

  • Assist in finance functions such as compilation, generation, and analysis of monthly financial statements and reports, calculation of quarterly cash flow and excise tax estimates, generation of supporting documentation for the annual budget process
  • Manage grants compliance requirements
  • Lead data migration to new software platform and maintain online grants management platform and database backend support
  • Forecast and track foundation payout to meet legal requirements and grantmaking goals
  • Process intake of all grant inquires, applications, and reports and provide assistance to grantees submitting proposals
  • Participate in the team review and analysis of grant proposals
  • Schedule site visits and due diligence meetings
  • Assist in developing and implementing framework for measuring and reporting program progress to internal and external stakeholders

 

As an ideal candidate, you possess:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Understanding and working knowledge of accounting basics
  • Comparable experience with a focus on project management or grant administration
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Extreme attention to detail and the ability to complete tasks with a high level of accuracy and dependability
  • Track record of adhering to strict deadlines and keen ability to prioritize and adapt to changing needs
  • Thoughtful customer service and passion for collaboration
  • Impeccable discretion and integrity
  • Strong work ethic with grit, drive, and positive attitude
  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite applications and Grant Management System
