Position Title: Brand Champion – Hamptons                                                       
Timing: Part-Time Seasonal Contract (from Memorial Day through Labor Day, 2023)
Location: Hamptons Based (from Memorial Day through Labor Day, 2023)

Job Description:
This Brand Champion role is a seasonal position that will serve as local brand advocate in the Hampton’s market (South Hampton to Montauk.) This role will enhance our market visibility by growing & developing key account and customer relationships.  The BC will educate trade and consumers with a focus on Aperol, as well as build brand affinity and visibility in new and existing key accounts in Aperol’s target subchannels.  We are looking to promote a strong trade & customer following within bars, restaurants, & our independent retailers.

Working closely with the Team, you will manage:
  • Key Account Relationship Building and Education with a focus on Aperol (80% on/20% off)
  • Relationship Development with distributor and Campari local team members, sales teams and focus accounts
  • Brand Activation at key high volume potential accounts
  • Brand Presence, Sampling, and Visibility to drive trial and awareness

Major Responsibilities:
  • Account & Customer Relationship Building
    • Build and foster strong relationships at existing influential maintenance accounts
    • Help drive brand visibility and awareness through POS and cocktails placements
    • Develops relationships within the community to strengthen and expand customer base for sales and promotional opportunities
  • Brand Activation
    • Assist in planning and execution of key local/ ad hoc events
    • Support driving trial & awareness via liquid to lips consumer samplings an on and off premise accounts with the support of the Soho Field Marketing team
    • Ensure Aperol merchandising and visibility at samplings, special and/or private events
  • Trade Education and Staff Trainings, Off & On Premise
    • Perform informal and staff trainings and education to reinforce brand message and quality, and highlight Aperol’s place in the Hamptons scene
  • Reporting

Core Competencies/Experience & Qualifications:
  • Familiar and well-known within the Hamptons bar scene
  • Background in brand activation, sales, brand ambassador programming, and/or promotional events
  • Spirits and Wine experience required
  • Motivated self-starter that is results and quality oriented
  • Strong written, verbal, and public speaking skills
  • Organizing, planning, and coordinating skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong computer skills
  • Ability to work independently and plan time/activities to meet goals (KPIs) and track budgets              
  • Must be able to travel locally in the Hamptons (South Hampton to Montauk), based in the Hamptons for at least the May through September time period
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
