Perform complex procedures, including injecting radiopharmaceuticals under the direct supervision of a radiologist.
Explain test procedures and safety precautions to subjects and provide them with assistance during procedures.
Ensure the environment is safe at all times for patient and staff.
Attain required approval and signature by nuclear medicine physicians.
Transfer, position, and instruct patients in preparation for procedures.

Prepare equipment for procedure, check that the scanner is functioning properly and sterilized for the next patient.
Greet patients and prepare them for the scans. Obtain patient history for review. Address any questions and concerns of the patient.
Mix chemicals for contrast dyes correctly and administer the dyes through intravenous injections.
Operate MRI scanning equipment.
Read pulse sequences and images.
Accurately perform imaging procedures for head and neck, spine, thorax, abdomen, pelvis, and musculoskeletal system.
Update patient records with results of scans.

Study blood samples for use in transfusions by identifying the number of cells, the cell morphology or the blood group, blood type, and compatibility with other blood types.
Operate sophisticated laboratory equipment, such as microscopes and cell counters.
Use automated equipment and computerized instruments capable of performing a number of tests at the same time. Regularly perform equipment and instrument maintenance and trouble-shooting to ensure quality control.
Log data from medical tests and enter results into a patient&rsquo;s medical record.

Phlebotomist Duties & Responsibilities:


Draw blood from patients and blood donors through venipuncture or dermal puncture. Make decisions about how to obtain blood specimen depending on the age of the patient, amount of blood needed, and risks associated with the procedure. 
Verify patients&rsquo; or donors&rsquo; identity to ensure proper labeling of the specimen. 
Clearly and accurately label the specimen for processing and testing, and ensure appropriate chain of custody within specimen transfer. 
Assess specimen quality for hemolysis, QNS (insufficient quantity), clotting, or incorrect specimen type. 
Store specimens properly with special attention to temperature, light, time in storage, and shipping methods. 
Assemble and maintain medical instruments such as needles, syringes, test tubes, anticoagulants, tourniquets and blood vials, and sterilize or dispose of contaminated equipment.

Radiation Oncology Therapist Duties & Responsibilities:


Administer prescribed doses of radiation to specific body parts, using radiation therapy equipment according to established practices and standards.
Operate diagnostic or therapeutic medical instruments or equipment.
Enter data into computer and set controls to operate or adjust equipment or regulate dosage.
Monitor patient conditions during treatments, procedures, or activities
Educate, prepare, and reassure patients and their families by answering questions, providing physical assistance, and reinforcing physicians&#39; advice regarding treatment reactions or post-treatment care
Maintain records, reports, or files as required, including such information as radiation dosages, equipment settings, or patients&#39; reactions.

Echo Tech Qualifications:


Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) from ARDMS
BLS
Minimum of two years experience as an Echo Tech, within the past two years.
High School diploma or GED required and formal training and completing of course work from an accredited Sonography school.


In addition you must:

Echo Tech Duties & Responsibilities:


Reviews patient&rsquo;s medical history and physician&rsquo;s instructions. Prepares equipment and patient for procedure. Explains procedure to patient and records any medical history that may be relevant to the condition being viewed.
Operates special equipment to direct non-ionizing, high-frequency sound waves into areas of the patient&rsquo;s body.
Provides excellent diagnostic echo images, correct views and accurate measurement for Transthoracic Echoes, Stress Echoes, Bubble studies, Definity Studies, and any other testing as ordered by provider.
Maintains required and/or assigned records and logs.
