We are seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to lead and maintain our Quality Management System (QMS) in alignment with ISO 13485:2016, customer requirements, and regulatory standards. This role is critical in driving quality performance, supporting compliance, and partnering across teams to ensure consistent execution.
Key Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain quality systems, policies, and procedures in compliance with ISO 13485 
Lead and manage CAPA processes, including investigations, root cause analysis, and timely closure 
Oversee nonconformances, deviations, RMAs, and supplier corrective actions (SCARs) 
Conduct and support customer complaint investigations, including technical communication with customers 
Manage document and record control processes 
Develop and maintain internal audit schedules and coordinate external audits (ISO registrar, customer, supplier) 
Compile and present data for Management Review 
Partner with Purchasing to define and monitor supplier quality requirements 
Track, analyze, and report quality metrics to leadership 
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and promote a strong quality culture 
Ensure customer requirements are integrated into processes and documentation 
Provide guidance to leadership on QMS performance

Qualifications
Education: Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in a related field preferred
Experience:

5+ years of experience in manufacturing quality or quality engineering 
Experience in medical device quality assurance strongly preferred 

Skills & Knowledge:

Working knowledge of ISO 13485 or ISO 9001 
Familiarity with FDA CFR 820, EU MDR, REACH, RoHS, Prop 65, or similar regulations preferred 
Experience with polymer extrusion or injection molding is a plus 
Strong understanding of quality management tools and methodologies 
Ability to interpret technical drawings and customer requirements 
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills 
Proven leadership and organizational skills 
Hands-on, team-oriented approach with strong interpersonal skills 
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ERP experience preferred 
ASQ certifications and Six Sigma (Yellow/Green/Black Belt) strongly preferred

This is a working supervisor role, where you will:
 
&bull; Serve as a hands-on, working supervisor by leading daily inventory operations and actively executing day-to-day tasks alongside the team on the warehouse floor.
&bull; Oversee receiving, stocking, issuing, and cycle counting activities
&bull; Ensure accuracy of inventory transactions within ERP systems
&bull; Investigate discrepancies and drive practical, root cause solutions
&bull; Coordinate material flow to support production and avoid shortages
&bull; Lead year end physical inventory and ongoing cycle counts
&bull; Coach, support, and develop inventory team members
&bull; Manage scheduling, attendance, and daily team coordination

&bull; Partner with purchasing and planning to manage inventory levels effectively
&bull; Support audits and ensure proper documentation and controls are in place
&bull; Lead, drive, and actively execute continuous improvement initiatives within the department, including identifying opportunities, working hands-on to implement solutions, and tracking results
 
What You Bring
&bull; 5 to 7 years of inventory, warehouse, or materials experience
&bull; 2 or more years of leadership or supervisory experience
&bull; Experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred
&bull; Working knowledge of inventory control practices and ERP systems
&bull; Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required, including experience with pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and the ability to analyze and work with data effectively

Position Summary

This is a mid-level role suited for a machinist who can work independently on complex setups, read and interpret detailed drawings, and contribute to continuous improvement in machining processes. Key Responsibilities

Set up and operate manual machines (mills, lathes, grinders) to produce precision components

Installing and commissioning precision electro-chemical grinding equipment
Troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues in the field
Performing preventative maintenance and routine service
Reading and interpreting mechanical drawings, blueprints, and electrical schematics
Applying GD&T knowledge and machining fundamentals to diagnose performance issues
Supporting machine alignments, calibrations, upgrades, and field modifications
Documenting service activities and maintaining accurate reports
Escalating complex technical issues to senior engineers when needed
Maintaining high standards of safety and quality

You will initially focus on one product line to build deep technical expertise, with opportunities to expand into additional equipment over time.
What We&rsquo;re Looking For
Required Experience & Skills

Experience working with machine tools (surface grinding, mills, lathes required)
Foundational mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
Knowledge of GD&T and ability to read technical drawings and schematics
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability
2&ndash;5 years of experience in field service, machining, grinding operations, machine assembly, or industrial equipment support
Associate degree or technical certification in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Machining, or related field (or equivalent hands-on experience)
Valid driver&rsquo;s license with a good driving record
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Preferred

Experience with precision grinding equipment
Basic understanding of electrical circuits, sensors, motors, and controls
Mitsubishi controls experience
Knowledge of G-Code
Experience using a ticket management system

Travel Expectations

50&ndash;75% travel required
Overnight stays and occasional international travel
Work performed in industrial manufacturing environments

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, solving complex technical problems, and building strong customer relationships.
Compensation
In accordance with New Jersey pay transparency requirements, the anticipated hourly pay range for this position is: $27.44 &ndash; $39.79 per hour
Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, internal equity, and business needs.
This position is classified as non-exempt and is eligible for overtime pay in accordance with federal and New Jersey law.

Respond promptly and professionally to high-volume customer inquiries via email and phone
Generate and send quotes, track open orders, and provide timely updates on delivery status
Handle product concerns, returns, and generate Return Material Authorizations (RMAs)
Collaborate with internal departments and utilize Salesforce to manage customer communications and leads
Stay informed on product updates and support processes with accuracy and attention to detail
Know when to escalate issues and communicate directly to resolve urgent matters

Excellent organization and time management skills, with strong follow-through

 Preferred Skills

Typing speed of 70+ words per minute
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Familiarity with Salesforce, Epicor, Great Plains, or Business Central is a plus
Prior experience in a customer service role; experience in a manufacturing or technical environment is a bonus
