The Back-End Retail Associate will assist donors and provide tax receipts for such, selects, and prepares textiles for sales in store, prices new and used merchandise and assures goods are made available to the public in a clean, attractive environment with the best customer service standards.

Core Responsibilities:

Assures exceptionally friendly customer service to all shoppers and donors.
Performs basic housekeeping tasks on the sales floor, donation center, and production area.
Safeguards company property and equipment against loss, theft, or damage.
Follows all safety policies and procedures.
Adheres to security policies and enforces all security rules and regulations and reports incidents to Store Manager.
Assists in any other store function as needed to assure all work goals are met and to cross train in all store functions.
Performs all other duties as assigned.


Donation Responsibilities:

Assists as necessary with loading/ unloading and carrying purchases/donations.
Explains to donors the company&rsquo;s policies when unable to accept some donations.
Provides donors with tax receipts.
Assures that the donation area center and the surrounding area inside and out are kept neat.
Evaluate wares for quality and value and price appropriately and determine when items need to be sent to the E Commerce department.
Prepare the outbound merchandise for shipment to warehouse.

Hanger/Grader Responsibilities:

Rapidly and accurately grades textiles into categories determined by Management.
Discards unsalable items.
Hangs 100 garments per hour.
Prices specialty items as directed by Management.
Places clothes on Z rack in order according to store layout.
Performs basic housekeeping tasks as required in store.

Education/Training:  
High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required.
Retail or similar experience preferred.

Physical Demands: 
Ability to stand and move around for extended periods. Ability to climb, talk, hear, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, handle, carry, push, pull, and lift objects up to 50 pounds.

Requirements: 
Must be available to work during operating hours as needed for business operations. Work schedule may include days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and blackout periods which may vary from week to week as well as occasional overtime when approved by management.

Skills: 
Basic computer skills, basic phone communication skills, ability count change and work a cash register, basic math, and ability to make change.

Working Conditions:

      <description><![CDATA[RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for managing RGI&rsquo;s accounting processes, systems, operations, and personnel. Provide assistance to the accounting staff and Senior Director Accounting as needed.
DUTIES:   Items that are in bold type are considered essential job functions in compliance with ADA.

Prepare journal entries including accruals, deferrals, reclassifications, and correcting entries.
Complete the monthly Virginia sales tax filings.
Ensure timely processing of invoices, employee reimbursements, and vendor payments. 
Prepare all customer invoices and ensure A/R balances are correct.
Record and post bi-weekly payroll to capture labor costs accurately. 
Record all revenue related to the E-Commerce business from marketplace sources.
Review and import daily all store-related sales into Business Accounting Software. Communicate discrepancies with store management.
Prepare and issue year end 1099 reports and file the 1096 through appropriate channels.
Input daily cash activity, transfers, and credit card deposits. 
Provide monthly GL reports and payment vouchers to Mission Services.
Prepare property tax returns. 
Prepare assigned account reconciliations, research and correct any discrepancies to maintain ledger accuracy.
Assist in month-end process and reporting.
Prepare Mission and WIOA grant related customer invoices and ensure accurate billing practices.
Supports in maintaining accuracy in accounting/finance procedures and assures internal system integrity.
Promptly respond to ad hoc reporting and/or analysis requests from member of the management team. Assist in preparing various external reporting to outside stakeholders including the monthly Goodwill Industries International (GII) Finance Report. 
Follows and enforces accounting and financial operating procedures under policies and/or guidelines, assuring use of approved accounting procedures. 
Provide audit support, documentation and requested schedules to Senior Director Accounting.
Act as backup for accounts payable.
Other duties assigned.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Education/Training:

BA or equivalent and 5+ years of related experience. A master's degree may be substituted for experience. 
Strong knowledge of general accounting practices with ability to make appropriate and accurate accounting decisions. Non-profit experience preferred.
Strong analytical and accounting skills.
Sage Intacct Software experience a must. Martus experience is desired.
Experience with general ledger functions, the month-end/year end close process, and creating consolidated financial statements. 
Excellent accounting and online banking software user and administration skills.
Tax, payroll recording and reporting experience.
Experience with GAAP.
Must be able to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline driven environment.
Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills.
Accuracy and attention to details.
The individual will be expected to work with minimal up-front guidance and take ownership of his/her work product. 

Physical Demands:

Mobility: Must be able to sit for extended periods while working at a desk or computer.

Rappahannock Goodwill Industries (RGI) is searching for Full Time Evening Custodians 3:00pm-11:0pm for QUANTICO MARINE CORP BASE shift to join our team.   As a Custodian you will perform routine maintenance activities for Military Base Buildings including cleaning, sanitizing, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming floors, dusting, and polishing fixtures and furniture, gathering and emptying trash, replacing trash liners as needed, wiping down trash receptacle as needed, scrubbing, sanitizing, and supplying restroom facilities, cleaning windows, mirrors, door-handles, switch-plates, and partitions,  assuring custodial closets are clean, orderly, stocked, and equipment works properly.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum floors.
Dust, clean, and polish fixtures and furniture.
Gather and empty trash - replace trash liners as needed - wipe down trash receptacle as needed. 
Scrub, sanitize, and supply restroom facilities. 
Clean windows, mirrors, door-handles, switch-plates, and partitions.
Assure custodial closets are clean, orderly, stocked, and equipment works properly.
Manage inventory of cleaning supplies.
Notify manager of any need of repairs, damage, or additional needs.
Other duties as assigned.

POSITION REQUIREMENS:

High School diploma or equivalent. 
Must be DBIDS (Defense Biometric Identification System) eligible.
This position requires a drug screen and background check.
Must be able to communicate in English.
Ability to read and mix cleaning solutions and chemicals in containers in preparation for cleaning, according to instructions.
Ability to be flexible, work at a fast pace, in a multi-tasked job, as well as be dependable and timely.
Ability to read and follow use of chemical cleaners and machinery.
One to two years custodial experience preferable but not required - will provide on the job training to those with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
Experience working for a professional janitorial company, office complex, hotel, hospital or school is a plus.

Hangs 100 garments per hour.

Education/Training:

Rappahannock Goodwill Industries (RGI) is searching for an E-Commerce Shipper. This individual is responsible for performing a variety of duties that support Rappahannock Goodwill&rsquo;s on-line sales of donated items

DUTIES:   

Packs and seals customer orders securely to prevent damage during transit.
Prints packing slips and labels, places postage to prepare for shipping, and adds insurance and signature requirements for all packages valued at $100 or more.
Inspects items for damage or discrepancies before packing and escalates concerns to the supervisor.
Ensures the right items are sent to the correct customer.
Ships all outbound orders and sort shipments into the appropriate containers
Maintains a defect rate of less than 2% on all shipped merchandise
Collaborates with the E-Commerce team to meet shipping deadlines and resolve order issues.
Organizes and maintains shipping supplies, ensuring adequate inventory levels.
Transports product through the warehouse to the loading area.
Occasionally interacts with customers for merchandise pickup.
Occasionally picks items for shipping.
Ensures proper housekeeping, and safety within their desk and work area.
Adheres to safety protocols and company policies during all shipping operations.
Perform other job duties as required.



POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum Qualifications
 

High school diploma or equivalent.
Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
Must be a reliable team member that is aware of the work needs of others.

Assures exceptionally friendly customer service to all shoppers and donors.

Hanger/Grader Responsibilities:

Rapidly and accurately grades textiles into categories determined by Management.
Discards unsalable items.
Hangs 100 garments per hour.
Prices specialty items as directed by Management.
Places clothes on Z rack in order according to store layout.
Performs basic housekeeping tasks as required in store.

Education/Training:  
High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required.
Retail or similar experience preferred.

Physical Demands:

As a Custodian you will perform routine maintenance activities for Military Base Buildings including cleaning, sanitizing, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming floors, dusting, and polishing fixtures and furniture, gathering and emptying trash, replacing trash liners as needed, wiping down trash receptacle as needed, scrubbing, sanitizing, and supplying restroom facilities, cleaning windows, mirrors, door-handles, switch-plates, and partitions,  assuring custodial closets are clean, orderly, stocked, and equipment works properly.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum floors.
Dust, clean, and polish fixtures and furniture.
Gather and empty trash - replace trash liners as needed - wipe down trash receptacle as needed. 
Scrub, sanitize, and supply restroom facilities. 
Clean windows, mirrors, door-handles, switch-plates, and partitions.
Assure custodial closets are clean, orderly, stocked, and equipment works properly.
Manage inventory of cleaning supplies.
Notify manager of any need of repairs, damage, or additional needs.
Other duties as assigned.

POSITION REQUIREMENS:

High School diploma or equivalent. 
Must be DBIDS (Defense Biometric Identification System) eligible.
This position requires a drug screen and background check.
Must be able to communicate in English.
Ability to read and mix cleaning solutions and chemicals in containers in preparation for cleaning, according to instructions.
Ability to be flexible, work at a fast pace, in a multi-tasked job, as well as be dependable and timely.
Ability to read and follow use of chemical cleaners and machinery.
One to two years custodial experience preferable but not required - will provide on the job training to those with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
Experience working for a professional janitorial company, office complex, hotel, hospital or school is a plus.

Communicate with E-Commerce team for consistency, ongoing training, and productivity.
Act as liaison between stores and e-commerce and ensure all merchandise is sent out to e-commerce in a timely manner.
Focus on quality control procedures to ensure that every item is described correctly.
Describe and title product accurately with keywords.
Create and maintain standard operating procedures.
Research items, accurately portray, weigh, measure, using disclaimers and assign shipping and handling charges appropriately.
Meet or exceed daily productivity goals through the efficient handling of product, processing items quickly and accurately.
Follow safety procedures and use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as needed.
Perform routine tasks according to established processes and ensure that each item is credited to the store that sent it.
Foster and demonstrate a positive team environment.
Fully and accurately write all product descriptions and attributes (including damages).
Assist in pulling items for re-listing.
Assist in sorting, identifying, and preparing items for photography.
Assist in filing items and maintaining the shelves.
Help facilitate shipment of sold items if needed.
Perform other job duties as required.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Must be available to work during operating hours as needed for business operations. Work schedule may include days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and blackout periods which may vary from week to week as well as occasional overtime when approved by management.

 Education/Training:  

High School Diploma or equivalent required. 1+ year&rsquo;s industrial production and working with people with disabilities experience preferred.
Must have basic computer skills including navigation on the internet and web-browsing.
Must be familiar with key Internet sites including eBay and Amazon.

Physical Demands:   

Ability to stand and move around for extended periods, lift objects up to 50 pounds, pushing/pulling, bending/stooping, reaching, turning and repetitive motions.

Working Conditions:

Manufacturing environment with exposure to dust, dirt, and noise.
Travel as necessary.
