Job Description:
The Material Associate is responsible for preparing parts and materials for production, tracking inventory, and ensuring accurate stock levels. This includes handling sensitive electronic components, issuing replacement parts, receiving materials, and using an ERP system (EPICOR) to manage inventory. Attention to detail and following safety and handling procedures is essential.

Use ERP system to track inventory and material movement
Prepare and issue kits for production
Perform cycle counts and resolve inventory issues
Pick and verify parts for production orders
Handle ESD- and moisture-sensitive components properly
Complete inventory records and data entry accurately
Follow all safety and handling procedures
Assist with receiving and cross-train as needed

What We&rsquo;re Looking For:

High School Diploma or GED required
Experience in stockroom, inventory, warehouse, or supplier receiving, preferred
Prior work in a manufacturing environment is a plus
Comfortable using a pallet jack; future certification on lift equipment may be required
Familiarity with ERP or inventory management systems is a plus (EPICOR experience a bonus)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Team-oriented mindset with strong multitasking and prioritization skills
Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to resolve inventory issues
Effective written and verbal communication skills

Working Conditions:

Typical manufacturing environment
Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs, climb stairs, and stand for extended periods
9/80 work schedule &ndash; enjoy every other Friday off!

Key Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive receiving inspections and quality assurance tasks to ensure all incoming materials meet our rigorous standards
Execute tape and reel component handling and verification with precision
Conduct thorough kit auditing to verify completeness and accuracy of component sets
Input inspection data into our ERP system with accuracy and attention to detail
Apply MSDS labeling and ensure proper documentation of hazardous materials
Perform measurement and component analysis using precision tools and techniques
Read and interpret component and mechanical drawings to verify specifications
Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to process optimization
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to maintain a safe, efficient work environment



Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
Strong attention to detail and genuine commitment to quality
Basic computer skills and willingness to learn ERP systems
Ability to lift and handle boxes up to 30 lbs regularly
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Reliable attendance and a positive attitude toward learning
Ability to follow instructions and work both independently and as part of a team



Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience in manufacturing, warehouse operations, or quality inspection (we'll train the right person!)
Familiarity with precision measurement tools and gauges
Background in inventory management or materials handling
Experience reading technical drawings or blueprints
IPC-A-610 certification

What You'll Do

Serve as the primary point of contact for EMS customer accounts, building and maintaining strong relationships throughout the entire product lifecycle
Lead programs from New Product Introduction through production ramp and ongoing customer support
Collaborate with cross-functional internal teams to meet aggressive production schedules while maintaining exceptional quality standards
Develop and manage detailed build plans and material strategies to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery
Facilitate Customer Focus Team meetings to align resources, resolve challenges, and drive program success
Monitor and report critical performance metrics including delivery performance, cost management, quality indicators, and customer satisfaction scores
Optimize inventory management, support demand forecasting, and proactively reduce supply chain risks
Lead change management processes and ensure seamless cross-functional communication
Support financial forecasting, backlog analysis, and monitor accounts receivable and tariff implications
Organize and lead Quarterly Business Reviews with customers to evaluate performance and identify growth opportunities
Identify and develop additional sales opportunities within existing customer accounts
Partner with sales teams to develop compelling proposals, quotes, and program expansion strategies
Champion continuous improvement initiatives that enhance customer value and reduce operational costs



What We're Looking For
Essential Qualifications

1+ years of program management experience in any industry
Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
Strategic mindset with strong organizational and time management abilities

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or related field
Experience in electronics manufacturing, EMS, or similar technical manufacturing environment
Knowledge of PCBA, box build, and electronic product lifecycles
Hands-on experience with ERP and CRM systems
Understanding of sales processes, value propositions, and account development strategies
Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies
Familiarity with quality standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 13485, IPC-A-610, AS9100, ITAR, or RoHS

Process Documentation: Help develop manufacturing procedures, work instructions, and process documentation that support operational excellence.
