Position Overview:
We are seeking a Repair & Maintenance Technician II to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will maintain and repair the property and equipment to ensure maximum machinery and equipment uptime. You will work closely with production, grow team and all other relevant departments to perform essential repairs and preventive maintenance, minimizing disruption to production processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Observe safety protocols and manufacturer instructions when performing maintenance tasks.
Perform maintenance and repairs on tools, equipment, machines, and buildings, ensuring minimal downtime.
Document all preventive and corrective maintenance tasks performed.
Collaborate with the Operations Manager to communicate equipment status, repairs, and improvements.
Work with outside contractors during facility projects.
Perform minor repairs to building fixtures, plumbing, and electrical systems, and conduct touch-up painting as needed.
Disassemble and reassemble equipment for repairs, as well as transfer tools and parts to workstations.
Adjust, connect, and disconnect wiring, piping, and other parts using hand or power tools.
Clean, lubricate, and maintain vehicles, machinery, equipment, and components to ensure proper functioning.
Recommend and report building and equipment improvements to the Operations Manager.

Qualifications:
&middot;  High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a trade apprenticeship or technical training is preferred.
&middot;  2-4 years of related experience in facility maintenance.
&middot;  Strong knowledge of mechanical equipment, control systems, and HVAC systems.
&middot;  Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and schematics.
&middot;  Proficiency in maintenance management software (CMMS).
&middot;  Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
&middot;  Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety standards.
&middot;  Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

The Machine Operator will be responsible for performing various tasks to set up, operate, monitor, troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance on assigned machines. The Machine Operator will also be responsible for inspecting parts to specifications and adjusting, or changes as necessary to maintain quality specification. To obtain this job title, a machine operator must be able to operate complete a training log associated with a particular zone.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Grower to join our dynamic team at our Pasco, WA facility.  In this role you will be responsible ultimately for all Quality Assurance aspects of the Company&rsquo;s production activities.  Working in tandem with the Production Team, as the roots of each facility's, Growers are the HQ for providing continuous feedback to all teams in the facility, improving systems, processes, infrastructure, and techniques with the goal of growing consistent, reliable thriving, and happy plants. 

Duties/Responsibilities:
Utilizing their experience and the resources available to them, the Grower will be responsible for the overall health and happiness of the plants, ensuring that yields targets are consistently met. 
Expectations: 

Establish optimal growing conditions for maximizing yield.
Manage nutrient recipes and their implementation into the system. 
Ensure growing systems are continually maintaining pre-defined environmental ranges (temp, humidity, Ph, nutrient balance).
Manage facility IPM program keeping pest pressure below economic thresholds.
Responsible for growing products which meet or exceed quality standards
Establish product quality standards that align with established company specifications such that there exist uniformity and consistency from day to day
Ensure consistency of product volume and yields from day to day and communicate daily with facility leadership on upcoming expectations.
Daily, weekly and monthly yield forecasts will be reported and socialized openly. 
Ensure all staff are aware of and have been trained on quality expectations.
Responsible for ensuring that product grown at the facility comply with company food safety standards
All procedures are in accordance with the Company&rsquo;s food safety policies and staff has been trained and kept up to date on any changes to said policy. 
Logs and records are being completed and submitted in a timely and reliable manner.
Will notify supervisor immediately upon the occurrence of any potential food safety incident perceived or otherwise. 
Recording, organizing and communicating Growing Systems Data.
Responsible the aggregation of production data from the operation and to quickly and efficiently communicate any issues that might affect production.

Education and Experience: 

Bachelor's degree in Horticulture, Agriculture, Biology, Plant Science, CEA, or another Growing related degree from a four-year college or university plus at least 5 years of experience;
Or Associate&rsquo;s degree in one of the aforementioned degrees, plus 7 years of growing experience;
Or at least 10 years of experience without a college degree;
Experience listed in the requirements above must be in greenhouse plant growing with at least one year of experience in High Tech CEA Greenhouses using Priva, Hoogendorn, Hortimax or another climate management system;
Experience growing leafy greens highly preferred.

In this role, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality throughout our production processes.  You will supervise a group of employees in a production environment to achieve goals that contribute to the growth of the organization, and you will lead a dedicated team in monitoring and implementing quality assurance practices. Team leaders motivate and inspire their team by creating an environment that promotes positive communication, encourages bonding of team members, and demonstrates flexibility.
Key Responsibilities:
&middot;       Managing the day-to-day activities of the production team and oversee daily quality assurance activities to support production processes and ensure compliance with food safety standards.

Job Summary:
The General Labor position performs multiple manual tasks and duties to assist other workers with safe plant and equipment preparation, operation, maintenance, sanitation, storage, and organization.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Cooperate and communicate with all team members to efficiently complete work.
Inspect products to verify conformance to quality standards.
Assist operators by performing the following duties:

Supplying materials
Holding materials
Holding tools
Cleaning work areas and equipment




Lift and dump raw materials, finished products, and packed items, manually or using a forklift.
Build and fill boxes, or other packaging properly, as instructed, with product.
Load and unload barrels, containers and other items from trucks, machines, or conveyors.
Mark or tag labels and identification on products.
Measure amounts of products or weights of filled containers to ensure conformance to specifications.
Observe equipment operations so that malfunctions can be detected and notify operators of any malfunctions.
Seal, pack, and store materials and products and stack them in cold room.
Place products in equipment or on work surfaces for further processing, inspecting, or wrapping. 
Remove products, machine attachments, and waste material from machines.
Transfer finished products, raw materials, tools, or equipment between storage and work areas of plant and warehouses, by hand or forklift.
Sanitize, wash, and clean work areas, outside areas, machines, equipment, products, and production areas while wearing appropriate PPE. 
Mix proper chemical amounts for sanitizing, cleaning, and washing.
Each employee at Local Bounti must uphold and support all food safety rules, regulations, and requirements. Local Bounti considers food safety a core value that ensures a safe and wholesome food product.

As a Forklift Operator at Local Bounti, you will ensure timely, safe, and efficient receiving, storing, or moving of material in the warehouse, loading dock, yard, or storage area while upholding our commitment to sustainability and food safety. You will also transport materials to, from, or between manufacturing production lines. Forklift Tasks:  Operates forklift, making runs throughout the facility to take product from packing areas to the cooler.  Stores and stacks materials, examines and reports deterioration and damage; rearranges and occasionally takes inventory of materials and product. 
FIFO Compliance:  Maintain FIFO compliance.  Monitor, report, and act on product(s) condition to reduce re-work and prevent losses.  
Load Security: Ensures that shipments are properly packaged, identified with all the required shipping information, and loaded into transportation vehicles.
Dry Goods Inventory:  Checks inventory of goods and materials as needed making sure that all departments have the required supplies.
Receiving:  Receives deliveries of goods and materials ensuring they are in good shape and documents using the Incoming Inspection Checklist form. 
Incident Reporting: Promptly notifies designated company personnel via cell phone whenever delivery delays, accidents, and vehicle malfunctions occur.
Documentation Accuracy: Completes all delivery documentation accurately.
Pallet Exchanges: Obtains exchange pallets for all pallets (other than blue CHEP pallets) that are delivered to customers; accurately records on the delivery documentation the number of pallets delivered to, and the number of exchange pallets received from, each customer.
Additional Duties: Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Other Duties: Any other duties as assigned.

Job Summary:
As a Repair & Maintenance Technician at Local Bounti, you will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless operation of our state-of-the-art greenhouse facility. By maintaining and repairing essential equipment, you will support our mission to grow and deliver fresh, sustainably produced leafy greens.


Duties/Responsibilities:

Day-to-Day Operations: Perform routine and emergency maintenance tasks to support production processes and ensure equipment runs efficiently.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, ensuring timely repairs to minimize downtime.
Preventive Maintenance: Implement and carry out preventive maintenance schedules for equipment to extend lifespan and prevent unplanned breakdowns.
Equipment Repair: Conduct repairs on a wide variety of equipment, including HVAC systems, conveyor belts, pumps, and other machinery in the facility
Technical Support: Provide technical support and advice to the production team regarding equipment use and maintenance best practices.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, including repair logs, parts used, and scheduled maintenance tasks.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless operations and provide feedback on ways to improve efficiency.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and standards during maintenance activities, ensuring a safe working environment.
Inventory Management: Assist in managing the inventory of spare parts, tools, and supplies necessary for repair and maintenance work.
Other Duties: Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training in mechanical, electrical, or maintenance fields is preferred.
Minimum of 1 years of hands-on experience in equipment repair and maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing, agricultural, or food production environment.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
Experience with troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing production equipment and machinery.
Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs and safety procedures.
Basic understanding of building systems (HVAC, plumbing, and electrical).
Experience with reading and interpreting technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks under minimal supervision.
Bilingual skills (English and Spanish) are a plus.

The Sanitation Tech will be responsible for cleaning production equipment, machines, and work areas in the food processing facilities. Responsible for handling and preparing cleaning chemicals, preparing sanitizers, preparing chemical concentrations, handling, and storing the chemicals, and managing chemical accidents.

The Packer position performs multiple manual tasks and duties to assist other workers with safe plant and equipment preparation, operation, maintenance, sanitation, storage, and organization.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Inspect products to verify conformance to quality standards.
Assist operators by performing the following duties:

Supplying materials
Holding materials
Holding tools
Cleaning work areas and equipment




Lift and dump raw materials, finished products, and packed items, manually or using a forklift.
Build and fill boxes, or other packaging properly, as instructed, with product.
Load and unload barrels, containers and other items from trucks, machines, or conveyors.
Mark or tag labels and identification on products.
Measure amounts of products or weights of filled containers to ensure conformance to specifications.
Observe equipment operations so that malfunctions can be detected and notify operators of any malfunctions.
Seal, pack, and store materials and products and stack them in cold room.
Place products in equipment or on work surfaces for further processing, inspecting, or wrapping. 
Remove products, machine attachments, and waste material from machines.
Transfer finished products, raw materials, tools, or equipment between storage and work areas of plant and warehouses, by hand or forklift.
Sanitize, wash, and clean work areas, outside areas, machines, equipment, products, and production areas while wearing appropriate PPE. 
Mix proper chemical amounts for sanitizing, cleaning, and washing.

The Maintenance Technician maintains and repairs the property and equipment. Performs and provides assistance in the installation, adjustment, maintenance, part replacement, and repair of tools, equipment, machines, and buildings. Executes various projects while creating minimal interference with production departments and processes.

Adjusts, connects, or disconnects wiring, piping, tubing, and other parts, using hand tools or power tools.
Applies protective materials to equipment, components, and parts in order to prevent defects and corrosion.
Assembles and maintain physical structures, using hand tools or power tools.
Cleans or lubricates vehicles, machinery, equipment, components and parts to prevent defects, and to ensure proper functioning.
Installs or replaces machinery, equipment, and new or replacement parts and instruments, using hand tools or power tools.
Searches for, and reports to Ops Manager, any machinery, equipment, building and facility improvements while performing maintenance on them.
Keeps equipment and work area safe, clean and orderly.
Performs all tasks with minimal interference with production department processes.
Performs other duties as assigned by Manager.
