About the Role

The Field Engineer will be based in Midland, TX. and will support Clean Chemistry&rsquo;s Oil and Gas
operations. This is a dynamic, hands-on position requiring a well-rounded skill set for recent engineering
graduates or the more experienced engineer. The position will require traveling regularly to work at
customer locations to trouble shoot and repair equipment, which is expected to be 25 to 50% of the time.
The balance of time will be used for data analysis, lab testing, remotely supporting operations, preparing
equipment and materials for deployment, and building a detailed understanding of specific
applications/processes. The position will often be customer-facing, requiring effective, professional
communication skills. The Field Engineer will work as part of Clean Chemistry&rsquo;s O&G team and will
closely interface with the company&rsquo;s operations and engineering teams.

Responsibilities

 Adhere to Clean Chemistry safety policies and procedures and any safety protocols required at
customer facilities.
 Provide operations support for Clean Chemistry&rsquo;s chemical production systems at customer
locations.
 Develop a detailed understanding and proficiency for Clean Chemistry&rsquo;s chemical production
systems to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair chemical production equipment.
 Test and evaluate chemical production systems before and after deployment
 Administer QC tests for local blended chemicals, create COA&rsquo;s, batch reports, and water
samples.
 Conduct chemical analyses of Clean Chemistry&rsquo;s product and of process streams treated by the
chemistry.
 Develop an understanding of specific customer facilities and processes.
 Analyze customer data and key performance indicators to understand the impact of Clean
Chemistry&rsquo;s technology in a variety of applications.
 Evaluate processes in field operations settings and communicate with Operations, Engineering
and HSEQ (health, safety, environment &amp; quality) teams to develop improvements to safety,
quality, and efficiency.
Requirements
 Bachelor&rsquo;s or Master&rsquo;s Engineering Degree (e.g. mechanical, chemical, environmental) or
comparable work experience
 Excellent problem-solving skills with process equipment and automation, chemical
manufacturing, or industrial/municipal water treatment processes
 Able to travel independently, drive, and work with moderate walking distances, flights of stairs,
and seasonal outdoor temperature variations (hot and below freezing)
 Willing to travel (25-50%, varies by month), work flexible and extended hours at customer sites.
Ability to travel in the US and internationally.
 Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with customers; strong written and verbal
communication skills.
 Troubleshoot and support internal and external customers remotely. Off-hour conversations
are often required.
 Proficient with the use of spreadsheet and database software to compile, analyze, and
present data. Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)
 Demonstrated ability to work independently and take initiatives to drive projects forward
Preferred Experience
 Preferred experience work in the O&G segment, water treatment, or manufacturing
 Familiarity with chemical reactions, chemical notation, stoichiometric calculations and
converting units of measure
 Plumbing and hands on mechanical experience.
 Experience with chemical hygiene and safety programs
 Hands-on experience working with PLC&rsquo;s, process sensors, control signals, power supplies,
motors, and pumps
 Experience with engineering design software and Google Suite tools

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Analyst to join our team in Longmont, CO. The ideal
candidate will be responsible for continuously monitoring water treatment units, responding to
alarms, reviewing unit health and performance trends, supporting troubleshooting efforts,
coordinating operational responses, and maintaining shift-level visibility of unit status across all
active jobs. This role requires a proactive approach to quality control, strong situational awareness,
and a commitment to maintaining high standards in our water treatment processes.

Key Responsibilities:
Remote Monitoring: Continuously monitor water treatment units from the local office using SCADA,
dashboards, telemetry, and related monitoring tools to identify abnormal operating conditions and
confirm unit health.
Alarm Response: Respond to alarms and operational issues in real time, investigate likely causes,
initiate follow-up actions, and escalate to the appropriate field, engineering, or management
resources when needed.
Performance Review: Review startup behavior, KPI trends, treatment performance, and operating
conditions to help ensure units are operating within expected ranges and producing acceptable
results.
Operational Coordination: Communicate issues to internal stakeholders and site contacts when
required, help coordinate tote runout and changeover events, and maintain current site contact
information for assigned jobs.
Operational Changes: Implement and document approved unit setting changes, verify system
response after updates, and maintain awareness of current job and skid configuration changes.
Maintenance and Field Support: Identify issues requiring maintenance action, support maintenance
requests, and assist with troubleshooting, inspections, site visits, or technical upgrades when needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
Proficiency in Google Workspace, including Sheets, Docs, and Drive.
Comfort using dashboards, spreadsheets, templates, and digital reporting tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

primary area for this role will be Pennsylvania, with occasional travel required to

About the Role
The SCADA Engineer is responsible for the maintenance and continued development of SCADA systems at Clean Chemistry.  Clean Chemistry water treatment equipment is used in a variety of industrial settings.  Our internally developed SCADA system allows remote monitoring & control of deployed equipment.  The SCADA Engineer will work directly with controls engineers and IT personnel to ensure functionality, security, and reliability of SCADA systems.   In addition, the SCADA Engineer is responsible for documentation including any training materials needed as well as  program version control. Responsibilities


Adhere to Clean Chemistry safety policies and procedures.


Lead the SCADA effort for remote monitoring and control of Clean Chemistry water treatment equipment.


Integrate the SCADA effort with the controls strategy for Clean Chemistry equipment across multiple industries and end applications.


Assist the Clean Chemistry IT department with database maintenance and networking hardware.


Prepare and maintain required documentation.


Interface with field operations personnel to understand satisfaction, concerns, and areas for improvement.


 
Requirements


Engineering Degree; Minimum BS/BA.


Minimum 3-5 years&rsquo; experience of design and implementation of SCADA remote monitoring & control systems for automated controls equipment, preferably familiar with water treatment processes and instrumentation.


Experience with B&R Automation (or with alternative SCADA platforms such as Ignition)


Experience with local networking and machine-to-machine communication (Modbus TCP, IPs, scan rates).


Knowledgeable about databases and integration of remote systems with cloud-based storage.


Experience with programming languages (Python, JavaScript, SQL) and cloud computing systems (Google Cloud Platform, Azure)


Experience with server maintenance and maintaining always-on systems


Experience with ladder logic (WINDLDR)


Experience with software development life cycle (Systems Design, Feature Planning, VCS like GitHub)


Knowledgeable about PLC hardware and software platforms and plant control system integration. 


Experience with industrial networking protocols, remote web-based system control, data acquisition, and data historians.


Excellent communication skills.


Ability to interact professionally with contractors and customers.

About the Role
The field operators will participate in the installation, monitoring, and operations of advanced water
treatment equipment at our customer sites. This will include tuning equipment for optimal performance,
periodic maintenance, repairs as needed and managing supplies.
