If you are an experienced mammographer, someone who can work independently and wants to have an impact on each and every patient, join us as a Per Diem.
What do you need to be the right candidate for this role?

Must be up to date on all CME credits.
Must be very patient centric, compassionate, and computer savvy.
Able to perform a variety of technical activities associated with the performance of screening and diagnostic mammography procedures.
Flexible with the ability to multi-task.
Willing to cover on a moment's notice.

What are your responsibilities?

Specializes in the production of screening and diagnostic mammograms for the detection of breast cancers and lesions.
Responsible for the initial and ongoing success of the mammography service in the practice in which one works. Assist practice in any and all ways possible to be sure all eligible age-appropriate patients have annual screening mammograms.
Prepares patients for the mammographic procedure.
Explains procedures to the patient to reduce anxieties and obtain patient cooperation.
Moves mammographic equipment to specific positions and adjusts controls to set exposure factors based on knowledge of radiographic exposure techniques and protocols.
Practices radiation protection techniques by using beam restrictive devices, patient shielding skills.
Follows prescribed safety standards in operating all required equipment.
Examines digital images for image quality.
Ensures equipment is in proper working order at all times.
Performs all required QA testing required to comply with MQSA, ACR and State requirements/regulations.
Maintains patient confidentiality at all times.
Processes routine paperwork and all required data entry.
Participates in professional development activities and maintains professional affiliations.
Prepares all required reports and data pursuant to MQSA and State requirements.
Assists the Radiologist with QA/QC reporting.
Performs all mammography tracking following MQSA guidelines and requirements.
Maintains all QA documents necessary to exceed Annual FDA Inspection requirements.
Is responsible for obtaining and maintaining ACR accreditation.

What are your responsibilities?
This position reports to the Regional Director of Operations and is responsible for overseeing and supporting day-to-day operations across a portfolio of 6-10 Onsite Women's Health partnered breast health centers. In addition to the Regional Director, the Area Manager will have close working relationships with partnered site physicians, administrative staff, off-site radiologist(s), local hospitals and/or radiology imaging centers, and various members of the Onsite Women's Health (OWH) organization.
The ideal candidate will possess:

A well-balanced skill set that allows for successful interaction with a diverse range of professionals and patients; superior mammography technical skills and thorough knowledge of MQSA protocols and ACR requirements. 
Must have experience supervising others in a fast-paced environment, be dependable, self-motivated and able to problem solve quickly and effectively. 
Must also be able to manage conflicting priorities efficiently under pressure. 
Provide clinical, professional and managerial guidance to OWH team members. 

The Area Manager will assist the Regional Director as needed in the pre-installation activities, marketing efforts, hiring of personnel and implementation of new practice locations in her specific region, as well as: 

Work directly with the Regional Director and other OWH team members to assure the success of new practice locations
Oversee the day-to-day operations of OWH sites and staff within the practices partnering with Onsite to ensure high-quality patient care is provided
Serve as backup coverage across her portfolio of sites. As such, at times the candidate may be asked to perform 3D tomosynthesis mammography of the highest technical level

Desired Skills and Experience

ARRT required
Advanced certification in Mammography required
Minimum of 5 years of practical experience
Must maintain CMEs as required by State and or National accreditation bodies
Proof of required educational level(s) due at time of hire
Management experience preferred
Overnight travel may be required depending upon assigned site locations & coverage needs
Experience working with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Demonstrated ability to communicate both verbally and in writing

Hours & Compensation

Exempt salary position with extended hours possibly required
Both local and distance travel is required for this position
Hours are based on the individual practice hours, days of operation and patient volume

What are your responsibilities?

Specializes in the production of screening and diagnostic mammograms for the detection of breast cancers and lesions.
Responsible for the initial and ongoing success of the mammography service in the practice in which one works.
Assist practice in any and all ways possible to be sure all eligible age-appropriate patients have annual screening mammograms - this is particularly critical in the first 18 months of a new practice.
Prepares patients for the mammographic procedure.
Explains procedures to the patient to reduce anxieties and obtain patient cooperation.
Moves mammographic equipment to specific positions and adjusts controls to set exposure factors based on knowledge of radiographic exposure techniques and protocols.
Practices radiation protection techniques by using beam restrictive devices, patient shielding skills.
Follows prescribed safety standards in operating all required equipment.
Examines digital images for image quality.
Ensures equipment is in proper working order at all times.
Performs all required QA testing required to comply with MQSA, ACR and State requirements/regulations.
Maintains patient confidentiality at all times.
Processes routine paperwork and all required data entry.

Position Summary:
This position: (a) supports the Enterprise Logistics team in all aspects of the Onsite Women's Health ("OWH") business regarding mammography and peripheral location and equipment installations, de-installations, and equipment moves; and (b) Assists with all imaging equipment daily issues and repairs, physicist scheduling for said repairs, weekly reporting, tracking, and maintenance scheduling/events.

Primary EFT Responsibilities

Provide input for construction/room planning drawings and installation packets for new locations as needed.
Work closely with OWH Enterprise Logistics team members on all installations
Will customarily and regularly exercise discretion and independent judgment to execute successful equipment installations in accordance with OWH specifications. Including but not limited to:

Hanging artwork, mirrors, coat hooks, etc.
Assemble and install furniture and accessories as needed
Assemble and install Computers and ancillary gear and connect to OWH Network
Installation site clean up and close out



Assist with ordering, packing and shipping logistics for all equipment and supplies associated with each installation, when needed.
Communicate with both internal teams and external vendors
Coordinate and execute all repairs and physicist inspections that apply to said repairs
Maintain weekly reports and event tracking via Smartsheet
Coordinate all maintenance events with OWH and Client personnel
Other duties as required


 

Education and Minimum Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of experience with computers (hardware and software), networking, and general IT functions. (Printers, routers, some wiring, etc)
General Construction knowledge helpful 
Electrical knowledge helpful
Media technician (i.e., cable or satellite) experience helpful
Must have strong interpersonal skills
Must be adaptable and able to think and act quickly to ever-changing priorities
Ability to remain calm in challenging environments

Travel Requirements

Extensive overnight travel will be required up to 75%
Must be able to coordinate and plan travel to and from projects
Must maintain a company credit card and submit expense reports per company requirements

Physical Requirements

What are your responsibilities?

Specializes in the production of screening and diagnostic mammograms for the detection of breast cancers and lesions.
Responsible for the initial and ongoing success of the mammography service in the practice in which one works. Assist practice in any and all ways possible to be sure all eligible age-appropriate patients have annual screening mammograms.
Prepares patients for the mammographic procedure.
Explains procedures to the patient to reduce anxieties and obtain patient cooperation.
Moves mammographic equipment to specific positions and adjusts controls to set exposure factors based on knowledge of radiographic exposure techniques and protocols.
Practices radiation protection techniques by using beam restrictive devices, patient shielding skills.
Follows prescribed safety standards in operating all required equipment.
Examines digital images for image quality.
Ensures equipment is in proper working order at all times.
Performs all required QA testing required to comply with MQSA, ACR and State requirements/regulations.
Maintains patient confidentiality at all times.
Processes routine paperwork and all required data entry.
Participates in professional development activities and maintains professional affiliations.
Prepares all required reports and data pursuant to MQSA and State requirements.
Assists the Radiologist with QA/QC reporting.
Performs all mammography tracking following MQSA guidelines and requirements.
Maintains all QA documents necessary to exceed Annual FDA Inspection requirements.
Is responsible for obtaining and maintaining ACR accreditation.
