Key Responsibilities:

Manage Full Accounting Cycle


Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable


Record daily financial transactions


Maintain general ledger


Perform journal entries



Bank & Account Reconciliation


Reconcile bank, credit card, and loan statements


Investigate and resolve discrepancies



Financial Reporting


Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements


Generate profit & loss statements and balance sheets


Assist with budgeting and forecasting


Prepare weekly work-in progress schedule


Report weekly actual sales and KPI&rsquo;s



Tax & Compliance Support


Prepare data for tax filings


Ensure compliance with financial regulations


Work with accountants/CPAs during audits


Prepare monthly and quarterly sales tax returns 



Software & Systems Management


Use accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks)


Maintain organized financial records and documentation


Proficient with Google Suite





Qualifications:


Associate&rsquo;s or Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Accounting or related field preferred


Proven experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a similar role


Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks Online, Excel)


Strong attention to detail and organizational skills


Ability to manage time effectively in a part-time schedule


Basic understanding of accounting principles


Strong communication and problem-solving skills


Work Schedule:


Part-time (20&ndash;25 hours per week; flexible schedule based on business needs)

The Sales Estimator is responsible for managing the end-to-end sales process &mdash; from prospecting to presenting estimates to closing deals. This role supports both residential and commercial markets and plays a vital part in representing Spectrum&rsquo;s high-quality service with professionalism and integrity.

 Compensation & Schedule
       First-year on-goal total compensation: $125,000+ (no cap)
       Schedule: Monday&ndash;Friday, with occasional evenings and Saturdays as needed
       Benefits include: 401(k), paid training, health insurance, weekly pay, PTO, and year-round work

 Key Responsibilities
 Sales & Estimating
       Attend scheduled estimates on time and in uniform
       Provide clear, detailed quotes within 48 hours using company pricing systems
       Use a consultative sales approach to understand customer needs and communicate value
       Maintain consistent follow-up until all open bids receive a final decision (yes or no)
       Visit every sold job at least once to reinforce relationships and monitor quality
       Ensure jobs stay &ldquo;happy and under&rdquo; by aligning expectations with production
       Sell across verticals (painting, flooring, light carpentry) and adjust communication per customer type (residential/commercial)
 Communication & Customer Experience
       Maintain ongoing communication with customers through email, calls, and job visits
       Promptly return all incoming calls (within 4 business hours)
       Represent the company professionally with punctuality, presentation, and positivity
       Coordinate project details with crew leaders, including job scope, materials, colors, and timeline
 Pipeline Management & Prospecting
       Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities
       Use CRM to track all leads, estimates, communication, and follow-ups
       Analyze blueprints, plans, or scope documents where needed
       Participate in networking groups and referral programs to generate new leads
       Develop a personal prospecting plan to grow individual and company success
 Leadership & Team Engagement
       Attend all team meetings and training sessions
       Collaborate with other departments and provide field insight for planning
       Contribute to process improvement and strategic initiatives
       Support and live out Spectrum&rsquo;s culture and values

 Qualifications
       3+ years of sales experience (residential or B2B preferred)
       Experience with a one- to two-call close process
       Valid driver&rsquo;s license with a clean driving record
       Fluent in English and authorized to work in the U.S.
       Estimating experience and blueprint reading a plus, but not required
       Trade/industry background is not required
