As we expand our medical education initiatives, we are looking for a Medical Education Logistics Coordinator to help support hands-on training, lab logistics, and event coordination. 

Job Summary

The Medical Education Logistics Coordinator is an entry-level position responsible for managing lab logistics, maintaining cadaveric specimen inventory, and supporting inventory management. This role requires exceptional organization, attention to detail, and strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with internal teams and external labs. No prior experience in medical education or lab coordination is required, training will be provided.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Lab & Training Coordination:
    • Develop agendas for external training labs (single-station format).  
    • Communicate with external labs to make reservations, confirm logistics, and coordinate scheduling.  
    • Plan and manage lab send lists.  
  • Specimen Inventory & Handling: 

    • Track and order cadaver specimen needs.  
    • Upload scans to r3id/PACS 
    • Arrange cadaver specimen transfers between restor3d internal and external labs.   
    • Manage proper disposal of cadaver specimens.  
  • Event & Material Support:

    • Oversee the production of specimen cut guides for labs.  
    • Pack and ship materials for external labs and conferences.  
    • Send requested demo units from our facility.  
    • Maintain and track tray inventory.  
    • Unpack and organize materials post-event and post-lab.  
    • Assist with packing and unpacking for conferences.  
    • Oversee events in bioskills laboratory setting, handling cadaveric specimens, with radiation present 
    • Operate radiation producing machines following restor3d's operator training
  • Administrative & Process Management:

    • Provide digital production updates.  
    • Attend manufacturing meetings to plan for Patient-Specific implant and instrumentation demand.  
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and experience

Required Skills:  

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail. 
  • Ability to manage logistics, schedules, and inventory efficiently. 
  • Comfortable working with cadaveric specimens (training provided). 
  • Basic knowledge of biology or medical terminology is helpful but not required. 
  • Strong communication skills for coordinating with internal teams and external labs. 
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and maintain accurate records. 
  • Willingness to learn and follow lab safety procedures. 
  • Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability. 
  • Good email and inbox management habits.  ​​​​​​

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required

Preferred education and experience:

  • Associate or bachelors degree in related field preferred

Physical Requirements: 

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Lifting up to 40 pounds
Pay Range
$50,000.00   Annually to $70,000.00   Annually
