Your Impact at Land Intelligence

As a GIS Analyst at Land Intelligence, you will play a crucial role in analyzing, interpreting, and visualizing geospatial data to support our clients' decision-making processes. You will be responsible for collecting, manipulating, and managing large datasets using GIS software and tools. Your expertise will contribute to the development and maintenance of geodatabases, spatial data models, and analytical workflows. You will collaborate closely with our multidisciplinary team to design intelligent mapping solutions tailored to specific industry needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct geospatial data analysis and develop insightful reports, maps, and visualizations to meet client requirements.
  • Perform quality control checks, data integration, and data modeling to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Create and maintain geodatabases and feature classes, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
  • Utilize GIS software and tools (such as ArcGIS, QGIS, or CARTO) to perform geoprocessing tasks and spatial analyses.
  • Develop custom GIS applications, automate workflows, and enhance existing systems.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in GIS.
  • Collaborate with the team to identify GIS requirements, propose solutions, and refine project objectives.
  • Provide training and technical support to clients and team members on GIS-related topics.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Geography, Geomatics, GIS, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience working as a GIS Analyst or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in GIS software and tools, such as ArcGIS, QGIS, or CARTO.
  • Strong knowledge of spatial analysis techniques, geodatabase management, and data modeling.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, R) for automation and custom tool development is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey complex technical concepts.
  • Attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines.
