FrankCrum Staffing is seeking a skilled Web Developer / Full Stack Developer to assist in developing software solutions that improve business operations for franchisees, field service staff, and call center agents.

The Developer will work with the development team and stakeholders to produce error-free code to solve business problems by creating, maintaining, and updating the web applications. We are looking for someone with experience working on a production grade development team for a small-to-mid size company.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Works on client and server side web applications
  • Reviews existing codebase and implements new application code
  • Estimates, completes, and tests development tasks
  • Have understanding of the full development life cycle Ability to work without extensive supervision
  • Proficient in PHP, JavaScript (React), HTML, CSS, and have solid knowledge and experience in programming applications
  • Interact well with personnel from multiple functional and regional areas and operate in a fast-paced and demanding environment
  • The individual who will be successful in this role must be pro-active, detail oriented, and highly organized
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Experience:

  • 1+ years maintaining a production ready web application
  • 3+ years as a web developer on a development team
  • 2+ years with professional grade PHP development
  • 1+ years of programming with JavaScript technologies (React, Angular, Vue)
  • 1+ years of RDBMS programming Analytical thinker with a problem-solving aptitude Experience working with REST API backend frameworks Knowledge developing PHP and MySQL-based applications
  • PHP, Javascript, SQL, React, Git.
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL – MySQL specifically is a plus
  • Strong understanding of JavaScript and AJAX – React experience is a plus.
  • Ability to write clean standards compliant HTML and CSS using common techniques and libraries such as Bootstrap, Foundation, or Material design
  • Experience with web services based on SOAP or REST
  • Experience managing Linux-based servers
  • Familiarity with Git version control system

Communication Skills:

  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and the general public.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Reasoning Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Computer Skills
  • Ability to effectively and efficiently use Microsoft Office products and applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Programming skills.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Understanding of MVC as well as web application architectures
  • Experience with multiple server side programming languages
  • Experience with Agile development projects
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services hosting environment
  • Experience building highly available web applications
  • Experience with unit testing
  • Experience with React Native
