We are recruiting an experienced CNC Laser Operator for a client in the Odessa area. Our client is looking to hire immediately for this temp to hire position.  Must be able to have flexibility to work either a first or second shift position.

Skills: 

Qualified individuals must be able to operate computer-controlled Laser machine to perform one or more functions on metal work pieces.

Must be able to setup and operate and inspect first article work pieces.

Proficiently use measuring devices (vernier calipers, micrometers, gage pins, etc.) to ensure that parts are accurate to blueprints. 

Perform maintenance on equipment as instructed by supervisor 

Participate in departmental continuous improvement events, not limited to Kaizen, CI, FAST, JDI, and TPM. 

2 +years prior set-up experience preferred. 

2-5 years prior metal manufacturing experience preferred. 

2-5 years prior, relevant, CNC laser experience.  Able to follow control plans.

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $16-$19 DOE
