Methodist Dallas Medical Center is seeking an experienced Certified Sterile Processing Tech to join the Surgical Team. This is for a Full-time, Nights, job opportunity.   

 

In this highly technical, fast-paced, and rewarding position, the Certified Sterile Processing Tech will collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide the very best care for patients. The Certified Sterile Processing Tech will receive, fill and deliver supply orders, process and sterilizes instrument trays. The Tech cleans and inspects patient equipment, gathers instruments and supplies for surgical case carts. The Tech operates equipment as well as some computer systems, inventories, and restocks departmental supplies and special carts. 

Certified Sterile Processing Tech Job Requirements: 

  • Graduate of an approved Sterile Processing Technician program 

  • Certification by IAHCSMM or CBSPD 

  • 2 years direct instrumentation experience is preferred.
