The UI/UX Lead will employ a user-centered approach in the translation of business requirements into design deliverables and review the work of other UI/UX Designers, providing advice and concrete feedback.

Essential functions:

Create wireframes, prototypes, style guides, user flows to effectively communicate design solutions

Translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, mockups and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences

Review the work of other UI/UX Designers to ensure that the work meets the standard of quality and process expected of the department

Meet regularly with the Director of Design to present department UI/UX work and discuss potential enhancements to process and quality

Identify design problems and devise elegant solutions

Take a user-centered design approach and rapidly test and iterate your designs

Collaborate closely with design, engineering, product management and marketing teams

Work with design team to refine and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards

Skills and requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Design, Computer Science or equivalent required

A minimum of 5-7 years of related experience in user experience design

Expertise in visual design and wire-framing tools eg., Sketch, Invision, Axure

Ability to think globally and be mindful of designing for cultural differences and accessibility needs

Experience designing for e-commerce

Experience conducting concept and usability testing to gather feedback

Experience with user testing services like Usertesting.com

Experience with A/B testing services like Optimizely

Must have a strong UX & Design portfolio that demonstrates past design projects

Familiarity with interaction design and information architecture

Excellent documentation and presentation skills

Strong problem-solving skills

Strong Leadership skills

Ability to provide quick decisive feedback

Must possess strong, professional verbal and written communication skills

Flexibility in schedule to occasionally work off hours to participate in video/conference calls to accommodate international schedules
