Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) job, ED, Full-Time, Nights, Methodist Charlton Hospital 

Methodist Charlton Medical Center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department Team. This is for a full-time job opportunity.  

Emergency Department Registered nurse renders highly professional and technical nursing care to assigned patients. The Registered Nurse provides direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation). The Registered Nurse directs and supervises other assigned team members and collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to provide age/developmentally appropriate care in accordance with unit standards of care. The RN must have at least 1-year Emergency Department nursing experience.

Emergency Department Registered Nurse Job Requirements: 

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing. BSN Preferred 

• Current BCLS Certification and ACLS 

• Current additional certifications as required by department 

• Current license to practice professional nursing in Texas or eligibility to do so 

• Work experience: at least 1-year ED, RN experience 

Since 1975, Methodist Charlton Medical Center has been both a trusted healthcare provider and teaching hospital for the people of southwest Dallas County. Methodist Charlton Medical Center has emergency care available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.  

Our Level III emergency department also features a separate unit for non-urgent conditions such as sprained ankles, and another separate unit for people who need between 4 and 24 hours to get through diagnosis and treatment.
