We have immediate full-time career opportunities for a Staff Engineer in our Albuquerque, NM office. Western Technologies offers on-going training and the ability to gain valuable career experience and technical certifications.

Conduct field inspection / monitoring programs. Advise on geological suitability of sites for construction. Study the nature of ground and surface waters, soils, bedrock and environmental effects for land use and planning. Includes mapping, field and laboratory testing and analysis.

BS or MS in Civil or Geotechnical engineering with E.I.T. or P.E. Certification preferred. Preference will be given to those with a P.E. license

Experience in construction materials testing:

• ​​​​Collect and oversee soil and rock sampling.
• Assist in analysis of soil to determine engineering characteristics.
• Inspect development sites.
• Review engineering plans.
• Assist in writing technical reports.
• 0 to 5 years’ experience.
