Job Summary:

Manages viral vector production projects by collaborating with in-house teams and clients.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
 
  • Serve as the primary liaison between Vigene and clients on activities for client projects
  • Collect updates on all project activities on a weekly basis to maintain open dialogue with emphasis on completion; tracking updates and interactions through use of SalesForce
  • Schedule, conduct, and draft minutes for Research team on respective client projects to ensure regular communication
  • Provide project support to Research team in their execution of activities, including, but not limited to, manufacturing/release of product, analytical testing and shipping coordination with Logistics
  • Hold team members accountable for on-time completion of tasks or milestones
  • Support scenario planning for Research deliverables and generation of work orders
  • Provide project coordination and communication, including participation in technical calls and meetings, development of agendas, creation of meeting minutes, tracking of action items, and scheduling of follow-up meetings
  • Other responsibilities as required

Knowledge & Other Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences or a related field with >3 years of experience in biologics manufacturing

Other Characteristics:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Microsoft Office experience (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Good critical thinking skills and technical skills
  • Well organized, able to manage multiple projects at a time
  • Ability to meet deadlines, with attention to detail
  • Authorized to legally work in the United States without visa sponsorship

Physical Requirements/Work Environment/Travel Requirements:

  • Standing, sitting, pushing, pulling, walking
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
