Overview

We are seeking an experienced and energetic Product Manager to join our growing E-Commerce team. You will perform the responsibilities of an Agile (Scrum and Kanban) Product Manager in our highly progressive software applications development team, through our ongoing product development process. Your involvement in our product will include research and ideation, defining the scope, estimation, backlog management and grooming, sprint planning, execution, and retrospective. You should have a solid grasp on Agile product management and lean product management methodologies in order to deliver a quality product which meets stakeholders’ requirements, delights customers, and meets or exceeds our OKRs.

Responsibilities

·         Driving the continued growth of a customer facing e-commerce product and related back office tools

·         Acting as a liaison between key stakeholders and the product development team

·         Collaborating with development team members, and functional managers on all aspects of the product development life cycle

·         Prioritizing the product backlog based on data and input from product stakeholders and customer feedback

·         Owning the customer experience for important touch points in the e-commerce journey including account management, communications, Request for Quote feature, and other features

·         Owning the roadmap for back office internal e-commerce tools, integrations with external tools, and vendor participation functionality

·         Developing user stories and respective acceptance criteria

·         Developing user journey and workflow diagrams

·         Monitor success metrics and KPIs using Google Analytics, Data Studio, and Sisense

·         Actively collaborating with local and offshore team members in ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standup, and sprint retrospective

·         Validating quality and testing functionality of released deliverables

·         Creating and maintaining documentation of feature functionality

·         Participate in customer research by reviewing customer activities and surveys on a daily basis, partnering with sales to identify potential customers for interviews and content thereof, participate in interviews directly, and update monthly customer reporting

Qualifications

Required

·         Proven track of delivering user-facing functionality that has materially improved business objectives

·         Experience working with application developers, UI/UX designers, and DevOps personnel 

·         Knowledge of Agile and Lean methodologies

·         Experience with SaaS application development lifecycle

·         Experience with Jira, Confluence, and relevant product management applications

·         General understanding of web application development technologies and frameworks, relational databases, APIs, and cloud computing

·         Strong written and verbal communication skills 

·         Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, engineering, or related fields

·         4+ years of experience managing software products

·         Experience with developing B2B software applications, particularly those involving the electronic components industry

·         General understanding of software UX/UI design and elements

·         Team player with a 'make-it-happen' attitude

 

Preferred

·         Experience managing an e-commerce product with a general understanding of e-commerce SEO
