We currently have open opportunities for 1st & Mid Shift Quality Control Technicians in our Shawnee facility. The starting pay for this position is $19.50 / hour.

Our QC Technicians directly maintain our quality programs and ensure continuous production of products consistent with our quality standards. In this position, you will be responsible for running company programs that highlight safety improvements, new procedures, and new/different use of tools and equipment that improve quality and efficiency. We’re looking for QC Technicians who care about quality, are safety conscious, dependable, detail-oriented, and work well with others in a team environment.

QC Technicians are responsible for the following:

  • Operate equipment from band saws to height gauge
  • Perform calibrations
  • Complete paperwork
  • Inspect incoming materials and finished product to ensure all quality standards are met.
  • Create, revise and control manufacturing and quality documents
  • Maintain, update and file all manufacturing and quality records
  • Assist Internal Auditing and External Auditors
  • Investigate supplier issues, production issues and customer complaints
  • Maintain, update and file all manufacturing and quality records
  • Perform other duties as assigned

What We Need from You (Our Requirements)

  • Successful candidate must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen
  • Read & write English
  • Be able to work positively with all levels of employees
  • 90% or higher grade on internal math test
  • Must have a minimum 1 years’ experience working in a quality role in a manufacturing environment
  • Must have experience using micrometers and other precision measurement devices
  • Be able to work proficiently in Microsoft office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook)
  • Ability to read/ interpret blue prints & shop orders/ Ability to follow written and verbal directions/ Ability to work proficiently with minimum supervision
