The Medical Director role is a leadership position, responsible for ensuring the care services delivered by Podimetrics are in accordance with medical best practices. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer or Chief Medical Officer and working cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders, this leader will develop and execute a care strategy to deliver on our ambitious patient outcomes objectives.
Assist the Chief Executive Officer or Chief Medical Officer in planning and establishing goals and policies to improve quality and cost-effectiveness of care and service for members.
Be a trusted source of medical best practices related to the management of diabetic foot complications for cross-functional teams within the organization.
Consult on case reviews with the care management team to drive improved outcomes for patients.
Own and enhance our evidence-based and data-driven care protocols
Lead medical training and continuous education programs for internal teams within the organization.
Liaise with medical professionals and other key stakeholders outside the organization on patient cases.
Support sales and marketing on the development of content for educational in-services and public relations.
Support product development in assessing and building the business case for improved product offerings.
Licensed DPM, MD, or DO
Board certification preferred
Expertise and experience in the clinical management of advanced diabetic foot complications.
Persistence, organization, and discipline in setting targets and managing activities to stay on track and modify the plan as needed
Resourcefulness, high energy, and enthusiasm moving quickly, resourcefully, and with creativity, while not being afraid to speak up and respectfully confront challenges

Ability to travel domestically 10-25%.
