Responsibilities: DevSecOps SME independently evaluates, selects, adapts, and modifies standard techniques and criteria in order to plan and conduct engineering assignment in conjunction with the appropriate platform teams. Independently plans, schedules, and conducts or coordinates detailed phases of engineering work through the selection and adaptation or modification of techniques, procedures, and criteria. Analyzes complex features of the engineering solution and applies principles and practices of the discipline or devises new approaches in problem solutions. Thoroughly reviews all results from assigned tasks and determine if outputs are complete, correct, integrated with project objectives, and adequately documented.
Typical Duties Include:
Maintenance and sustainment of tools related to DevSecOps within the MCBOSS enclave used in support of CI/CD efforts.
Responsible for creation and sustainment of the playbooks/guides/wikis covering the DevSecOps tools that are needed to ensure platform teams can develop and deploy DecSecOps tools to act as guardrails to reduce risk.
Responsible for meeting Program Increment (~12week) deadlines to create and enhance DevSecOps capabilities.
Responsible to review the interconnection of the DevSecOps systems with adjacent SCCA, cloud services, and mission systems to identify risks or issues that require a resolution.
Responsible for creation and sustainment of internal guides/wikis needed to monitor, scan, modify, and defend their platform. 
Knowledge/Experience using DevSecOps tools to include Jenkins, Puppet, Artifactory, and cloud native equivalents.
Execute all efforts in a collaborative and Scaled Agile fashion while adhering to government mandated fixed due dates
Work with Agile teams (developers, testers, operators, and other production IT staff to oversee releases and deployments of capability.

Foster relationship with platform product teams and their customers, establish and refine Continuous Integration (CI) and automation (key processes, release schedules, and infrastructure designs) so that organization can create and release regular updates to DevSecOps capabilities quickly and efficiently as possible.
Attend and Participate in Periodic Large Scale Agile Planning events.
Support standard Agile ritual meetings (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Backlog Grooming, Sprint Reviews and Retrospectives) as necessary and assist Scrum teams in execution of Sprints.
Required Qualifications:
  • Experience with Jenkins, Puppet, Ansible, and Artifactory highly desired.
  • Experience with a range of AWS products (e.g. IAM, VPC, EC2, RDS, EBS, Transit Gateway, etc..)
  • 4-6 years IT experience and 2 to 3 years of direct DevSecOps experience.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Current SCI access
  • High School equivalent
  • Certification Requirements: DoD 8570 IAT Level II
Clearance: Top Secret
