Product Data Analyst

About the Role
As a subject matter expert, the Product Analyst will support our product team by using quantitative data to help them make informed decisions.  This position supports data quality and data stewardship functions to maintain data accuracy and identify new metrics. We are looking for someone who will advocate for the user, is passionate about finding truths in data, and excited to share their analysis of the data to drive the company forward


Location: Remote, North America, Mexico, or Europe

Responsibilities

  • Develop and iterate dashboards using visualization tools and multiple data sources
  • Monitor, analyze and report on new feature and web performance
  • Identify opportunities in data to support feature implementation, as well as increase engagement, retention, and monetization
  • Explore large, complex, and loosely defined datasets to create actionable insights
  • Research user journey and develop dashboards to demonstrate usage patterns
  • Collaborate with stakeholders (Product, Engineering and Design) to understand business requirements and functional specs and translate them into technical solutions
  • Manage implementation/deployment of tracking tags across the website
  • Streamline web analytics implementation and maintain the integrity of implemented GTM
  • Test and verify tags are implemented properly, performing regular audits to ensure validity
  • Regularly communicate with front and back-end development teams to deliver and release tagging updates into production environments
  • Create and maintain user documentation on live tags

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Business Management, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Computer Science, Statistics or Supply Chain Management
  • 3-4 years experience in business intelligence or data analysis role
  • Experience with Web Analytics (Google Analytics, Adobe)
  • Experience in tagging and configuring web analytics solutions/platforms (Google Tag Manager)
  • Solid understanding of digital marketing, eCommerce and/or Product Development
  • Proficiency in SQL, Microsoft Excel
  • Working experience with visualization tools like Data Studio, Sisense, Tableau or Microsoft PowerBI (including data importation, slicer manipulation, report creation and troubleshooting)
  • Ability to present data to stakeholders in a digestible manner
