 Job Purpose and Objectives - Senior Training and Development Specialist
As a Senior Training and Development Specialist for Enova, you will help design and deploy data-driven training strategies for small to mid-sized industrial companies within the construction, engineering, and manufacturing industries.  Within the first 90 days, you will adapt and lead two, 8-week leadership development cohorts. You will coach and mentor participants through exercises and activities that will ultimately enhance their leadership potential and help them engage and retain talent. To further support our customers, you will position yourself as a thought leader in the industry through content curation via blogs, video, social media, and conference breakout sessions. Additionally, you will meet with customers to review data related to their training and retention challenges and recommend strategic solutions. In this role you will make an immediate impact both internally for the Enova team and externally for your customers.

  • Training Strategy Design & Deployment – Great talent development strategies are comprehensive and intentional. You will help clients identify training gaps and then equip them with solutions that drive behavioral change. Most often, our clients lean on us to help them learn how they can create better leaders and retain employees.
  • Industry Outreach and Involvement – Our team masterfully demonstrates meaningful value to our stakeholders.  You will present well-constructed visual presentations, business proposals, and forward-thinking ideas to new and existing clients. Our partnerships with industry run deep and we are viewed as thought leaders in the industrial talent space.
  • Portfolio Development and Planning – Our best team members care for their stakeholders like they are part of the business.  You will help determine what types of talent development & training strategies will aid in their business growth and facilitate long-term sustainability.  This creates true partnerships which prove to be mutually rewarding.
Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Communications or related discipline, and/or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred. 
  • Experience of 5+ years facilitating leadership development programs is required. 
  • We are looking for consultative problem solvers who can demonstrate an ability to design and deploy innovative business solutions. Experience interpreting real business scenarios and developing meaningful solutions is required.   
  • Valid driver’s license required.
