What we do….
Downtown Streets Team builds Teams that restore dignity, inspire hope, and provide a pathway to recover from homelessness. We remove the barriers that stand in an individual’s way to exit homelessness and welcome them into a community built on the celebration of success.

What you’ll do…
The Digital Marketing Specialist will work closely with the Director of Development and the Communications Manager on DST communications planning, while taking ownership of the digital marketing content programs (website, social media platforms, graphic design, email marketing). They will effectively communicate a consistent and unified narrative, attract audiences into our fund development pipeline, and drive brand awareness. In addition to tending the organization’s primary social media accounts, the Digital Marketing Specialist will monitor and be a resource for the social media accounts maintained by the organization’s 16 regional offices. The ideal candidate has experiencing assessing and analyzing digital campaigns to optimize social media strategies. The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for the delivery of all digital marketing materials, ensuring they are of high quality, on time, and within the scope of the project.

This is a hybrid position with most work performed remotely from home. The candidate should be within commuting distance of San Jose and San Francisco offices.

Conditions for Employment:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in English, Marketing, Graphic Design, Journalism, Advertising, or a related field
  • 3+ years with editorial, digital content marketing, or communications experience 
  • 1+ years of experience independently managing marketing-related projects
  • Experience with PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office

  • Competitive nonprofit compensation; $65,000 - $75,000 DOE

Pay Range
$65,000.00   Annually to $75,000.00   Annually
