Description
Clason Point Partners Inc. (CPP) is seeking a Material Coordinator for a government contract in Monterey, CA providing inventory support. More specifically, the work performed by the Material Coordinator shall include, but is not limited to, the following:
 
  • Facilitate the uploading of key supporting documentation (KSD) (Packing slip, purchase order, transaction documents, hand receipt and contract (if applicable).
  • Catalog and maintain a re-useable excessed equipment database.
  • Process all hand receipts from excess property.
  • Maintain a Custody Transfer Log with accurate data entry to signify property as excess or storage transfer and the information shall be input into database for Government verification.
  • Fulfill written requests for excess equipment from Government approved personnel.
  • Facilitate property custody transfers of excess property for inventory assignment to designated property holders.
  • Facilitate the receipt and recording of equipment for disposal processing. This entails but is not limited to the creation of disposition documents for excess that is beyond its useful life.
  • Verify inventoried items in government database.
  • Conduct visual inspections of property throughout the work site.
  • Record new Government equipment and spot check existing inventory that is not property tagged and recorded in Government database.
  • Inventory random sampling data verification throughout the period of performance. Scan property tags (barcode) and upload results into Government database using provided equipment. Provide corrective action for any discrepancies in the data and details of the correction recorded in Government provided log/transaction ledger. 

Required Qualifications and Skills
 
  • 3 years of Government logistics experience
  • 2 years of disposition experience within the DoD
  • 2 years of Microsoft Office experience
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds
  • Current NACI approval
