Responsibilities: The Growth Lead is responsible for maximizing the probability of winning a particular business pursuit by leveraging resources, relationships, and processes in support of an aggressive growth agenda

Duties include:  
  • Provide capture for complex and technology-based bids, including identifying and understanding clients’ requirements and buying patterns, developing technical solutions, and building a cost-competitive industry team that can deliver client impact through a winning bid
  • Support business development life cycle from opportunity identification, capture, and proposal development through contract startup for intelligence community and DoD clients
  • Drive market-based competitive intelligence, market assessments, client assessments, and strategic planning efforts in support of expanding specific client-based opportunity portfolios and pipeline
  • Leverage stakeholders relationships within the intelligence community, DOD and government clients; advance those relationships into strategic partnerships; main focus of this role is Navy, but does require support to other branches
  • Drive negotiations with industry partners to build unique teams in support of complex procurements
  • Develop and maintaining effective internal and external business relationships with clients and industry partners
  • Use of CRM; SharePoint sites; Pipeline management tools and databases to manage and execute the capture life-cycle 

Required Qualifications:                                                                                                                                                                                                                                           
  • Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years of demonstrated experience with:
    • Working within complex DoD and Intelligence Community (IC) environments
    • Leading and winning multiple capture efforts for minimum 25 FTEs
    • Successful execution of all phases of a multi-year capture effort, including strategic planning, teaming, proposals, market, or competitive and price-to-win analyses
    • Reviewing, strategizing for and replying to RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, White Papers
    • Developing and maintaining effective internal and external business relationships with clients and industry partners
    • Using CRM; SharePoint sites; Pipeline management tools and databases to manage and execute the capture life-cycle 
    • Application of technical knowledge into providing solutions for US Government customers
    • Leading customer engagements
    • Leading Navy pursuits: Strong experience with NAVWAR, NIWC PAC, NIWC LANT, PEO MLB, PEO DIGITAL, NSWC’s, OPNAV N1, NETC is desired
 
  • Possession of min Secret US Security Clearance

    • DoD Software Factory Business development / Capture experience
    • TS clearance
    • Continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) technologies such as GitLab, Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Terraform, etc
    • Container, orchestration, container platform, and service mesh technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes (k8s), etc
    • Continuous ATO’s (C-ATO’s)
    • Big Data
    • SBIR experience
