What we want you to do:

  • Strategic oversight and development of all ENTRE digital curriculum, live instruction, and competency-based products
  • Management of our talented and diverse team of Program Owners (experienced and practicing experts in their chosen field), instructors, and content administrators
  • Advising business owners and Executive stakeholders in the ongoing fulfillment of ENTRE’s curriculum roadmap
  • Defining and codifying online digital curriculum and assessment best practices
  • New product and curriculum launches 
  • Maintaining active industry awareness and involvement at a macro level through competitor research, trade groups and conferences, and other means to continually source new instructional talent for targeted curriculum paths
  • Departmental budgeting related to products and curriculum that supports sustainability and controls costs to ensure greatest possible value for the business and students
  • Developing student and stakeholder listening strategies to uncover pain points and unmet needs; communicating clearly and productively with stakeholders throughout the lifecycle of a project
  • Regular review of student metrics, KPI’s, and program outcomes to ensure all products meet targeted goals

To fulfill these responsibilities, the director leads a team of high-performance assessment and curriculum design and development professionals who:

  • Adhere to best practices in the design and development of reliable and valid competency-based assessments
  • Design and develop high-impact, competency-based curricular solutions that focus relentlessly on helping students to be successful as both learners and ultimately as entrepreneurs
  • Partner cross-functionally for the timely, efficient execution of high-quality new products, processes, and procedures that support ENTRE’s strategy
  • Produce timely, consistent, and accurate reports for stakeholders and executives
  • Are accountable for the health and quality of their assigned program and assessment portfolios, using established performance management processes
  • Provides measurable feedback to direct reports and suggestions for improved performance, coaches, mentors, and assists in the professional development of team members

The director provides thought leadership and vision in collaboration with:

  • Executive leadership and cross-functional teams to decide on innovations and improvements to the existing student experience and processes, based on analyzed data, current practice, and emerging trends
  • Cross functional teams to drive the continuous improvement of student outcomes and overall health and quality of curriculum in their proven specialty
  • Collaborates with Revenue/Marketing, Business Services, Fulfillment, and other internal stakeholders to consistently monitor and respond to market demand, workforce needs, and market changes

  • Resource Management and Prioritization: Advise on size and scope of projects to set a roadmap with key stakeholders. Strategically assign resources to projects and ensure full utilization of resources. Anticipate needs and advocate for required resources

What you have to have:

  • Five or more years of experience in developing online education programs and experiences that are relevant, engaging, and available across multiple platforms
  • Five or more years of experience with training or education online product development as a product owner
  • Five or more years of leadership and supervisory experience
  • Successful experience in relationship management across a range of partners
  • Successful experience in developing and managing effective teams
  • Experience in developing curriculum and/or high-stakes assessments
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, creating meeting schedules and budgets, and producing quality courses and programs
  • Demonstrated success in change management, and bringing order and structure to complex situations
  • Exemplifies ENTRE culture and values
  • Able to collaborate with multiple teams in a fast-past changing environment
  • Proactive problem solver with the ability to identify issues and tasks without being asked or notified  

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Entrepreneurial experience working in your own or other small businesses.
  • Experience with national or regional higher education accreditation standards
