The gig in short:

We’re seeking a Hybrid Product/Project Manager for Custom Software and Data Analytics to drive transformation for a high-growth Ed-Tech company. We have two custom web apps that our engineering team supports and advances in an agile environment. We want you to plan the sprints for both products to maximize the work of our dev team and function as a product owner for one of the two products. Delighting users and driving business performance will be your ultimate success metrics for both products. Entersoft: A Saas Marketing Automation/Funnel Builder Platform has a Product Manager and you will be the Product Manager for Entre Learn (marketing funnels, e-commerce checkout, sales CRM, student portal for digital education delivery) that runs some of our internal business. You will report to and be a trusted partner to our Engineering Manager who oversees UI/UX, Development, and Infrastructure.

What we want you to do:

  • Delight Users and Drive Business Performance through: 

  • Understanding Business Objectives 
  • Facilitating Business Communication 
  • Engaging directly with stakeholders from individual players to C-Level to communicate product status and maintain alignment
  • Managing the software development life cycle including research, architecture, development, customization, testing, and release
  • Prioritizing, Planning, and Communicating all work for the dev team in concert with the Engineering Manager. 
  • Staying on top of industry best practices in software development and data analytics. 
  • Managing expectations and conflict resolution for all stakeholders
  • Managing collection process for program requirements
  • Tracking progress according to timeline
  • Ownership of product quality assurance testing
  • Managing program scope
  • Managing collection process for program requirements
  • Tracking progress according to timeline
  • Overseeing user acceptance testing and user acceptance criteria
  • Developing requirements, budgets, and schedules using a data driven approach
  • Establishing milestones, anticipates issues, and monitors adherence to program scope, requirements, design documents, and schedules
  • Advocating client objectives and passionately keeps client solutions on track to achieve those objectives
  • Leading regular client meetings
  • Facilitating team workshops with clients
 

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

  • 7-10 years of experience in project or product management using an agile methodology within software development and data analytics.

  • Analytical ability to develop and implement improvements or recommendations

  • Attention to detail

  • Able to work well with senior executives and team, as well as mentor/lead other team members

  • Certified Scrum Master (Or relevant experience)

  • Experience configuring and using Project Management Software (Click Up Preferred) 

  • Quality assurance experience
