The gig in short:

We’re seeking a Project Manager to elevate planning and execution of projects across five business services teams for a high-growth Ed-Tech company in 2 ways: 

 

First, you’ll bring thoughtful planning and agility to our work by partnering with 5 team leaders and ensuring the success of their projects through PM training, systems creation, and guidance in their execution.  

 

Second, you’ll own the performance of our most critical projects that are company-wide projects, multi-team projects across business services, and inter-departmental projects (Revenue, Fulfillment, and Business Services). This role reports directly to the CFO who leads the five business services teams.

What we want you to do:

  • Drive Business Performance through: 

  • Understanding Business Objectives 

  • Engaging directly with stakeholders from individual players to C-Level to communicate project status and maintain alignment

  • Prioritizing, Planning, and Communicating work in concert with the CFO and business services team leaders

  • Managing expectations and conflict resolution for all stakeholders

  • Managing collection process for project/program requirements

  • Tracking progress according to timeline

  • Creating Investment Plans and budgets that include internal and external resources and ensuring the performance of programs/project

  • Managing project/program scope

  • Managing collection process for program requirements

  • Tracking progress according to timeline

  • Overseeing user acceptance testing

  • Developing requirements, budgets, and schedules

  • Establishing milestones, anticipates issues, and monitors adherence to program scope, requirements, design documents, and schedules

  • Advocating stakeholder objectives and passionately keeps solutions on track to achieve those objectives

  • Leading regular internal and external stakeholder meetings

  • Facilitating design workshops 

 

What we are looking for:

  • 7-10 years of experience in project or program management managing multiple concurrent projects. 

  • Cross Departmental Experience in Tech, Finance, and HR  

  • Analytical ability to develop and implement improvements or recommendations

  • Attention to detail

  • Able to work well with senior executives and team, as well as mentor/lead other team members

  • Certified Scrum Master (Preferred)

  • PMP certification

  • Experience configuring and using Project Management Software (Click Up Prefered) 

  • Quality assurance experience

  • Proactive problem solver with the ability to identify issues and tasks without being asked or notified  

What types of projects you will be working on:

  • Technology Systems Upgrades, Systems Selection and Implementations in 2022 including Accounting, Finance, HR systems, and GRC systems. 

  • Working with our Tech Team PM to manage the integrations and optimization of all business services systems into our data warehouse. 

  • Managing our Corporate Planning Process with the CFO 

  • Working with SMEs in the business to ensure that Strategic Planning and Operational Planning and Communication is being executed in a timely and integrated manner 

  • Managing integrated Cross Departmental Programs and Projects in Marketing, Sales, Product Development, and Fulfillment that need the resources of the five teams in business services.
