Role / What you will be doing

The Senior Technical Recruiter serves as a strategic partner to hiring managers and the business and also acts as a compelling ambassador for M2GEN while performing full lifecycle recruiting.  The ideal individual’s main goal is to identify, assess and attract top tech talent to the Company. This role will manage the entire recruitment cycle from defining roles based on discussions with hiring managers, posting jobs and search strategy, reviewing resumes, scheduling interviews, initial screening calls, interviewing and assessing candidates, to managing the offer process.

Responsibilities (this is not an all-inclusive list, duties may evolve over time as business needs change)
  • Consult with hiring manager to define and understand their needs; develop a plan to attract and recruit and deliver innovative and efficient hiring solutions
  • Guide hiring managers and candidates through the interview and selection process
  • Develop and implement strategies to source the best talent
  • Source, screen, qualify and recommend candidates for various positions leveraging innovative strategies for finding and hiring diverse talent
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and report on recruitment progress via weekly and monthly reports and other regular metrics;
  • Manage direct and web-based communications with prospective candidates, representing M2GEN and ensuring a superior candidate experience
  • Maximize direct sourcing efforts through niche platforms, Linkedin, referrals, job boards, other web based sources and various other channels to find the best qualified candidates. 
  • Deliver an exceptional client and candidate experience
  • Monitor recruitment progress, set hiring priorities and track recruiting activity data
  • Drive hiring processes that produce high quality candidates at speed
  • Implement best practice recruitment services and drive talent acquisition strategies to support growth
  • Use a variety of tools and resources to effectively source and evaluate talent
  • Create strong professional networks, attend virtual networking events and partner with educational institutions for diverse talent pools
  • Understand business operations and role requirements in order to assess quality and skills when identifying the best candidates
  • Manage offer negotiations resulting in mutually beneficial terms and optimal outcomes for the business and candidate
  • Understand and explain compensation and total rewards, benefits, policies and programs to candidates
  • Stay abreast of competitive industry information and business intel
Education / Experience
  • Bachelors degree preferred or equivalent experience as a recruiter
  • At least 5+ years of full lifecycle technical recruiting, start-up experience a plus
  • Technology, Data, SAAS or biotech, lifesci and biopharma specialization helpful
  • Technical expertise with an ability to understand and explain job requirements for tech and engineering roles
  • Prior success in scaling start-ups or running recruitment efforts to multiply company’s headcount 3-5x; high volume rapid hiring experience beneficial 
  • Prior usage with various ATS systems and recruiting tools
  • Experience with diversity recruiting and able to create a pipeline of diverse candidates
