As a Vontz Paving, Inc. Heavy Equipment Operator, you will be building Nebraska’s infrastructure by operating front-end loaders, asphalt rollers, asphalt pavers, asphalt milling machines, excavators, motor graders, skid steers and bulldozers on paving projects. Most of our projects are within 100 miles of Hastings and will require some overnight travel. This is a seasonal position, with potential for permanent employment. Competitive compensation will be awarded based on experience.
  • Operate construction equipment in compliance with Vontz Paving, Inc. safety policies and procedures.
  • Conduct daily equipment inspections, including re-fueling and greasing the equipment.
  • Escalate equipment issues to mechanics and supervisors.
  • Assist crew members with various tasks at the job site.
  • Experience operating heavy equipment is preferred but not required.
  • Valid Drivers License is preferred.
