Job Summary:
The project manager generates, plans, directs, and coordinates the day-to-day field operation, usually through communication with managers and foremen. They develop a process for completion of ongoing and potential projects and monitor and control projects through administrative direction of on-site foremen to ensure project is completed on schedule and within budget.  (This position is located in Buckhannon, WV).

Job Responsibilities (Including, but not limited to):
  • Work with foremen to plan, organize and direct activities concerned with all jobs/projects.
  • Establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards within boundaries of company policy and contract specifications. Confer with Field Supervisors and Foremen to discuss issues.
  • Lead and maintain a safe work environment
  • Represent company in project meetings, provide progress of work completed within project timeline.
  • Ensures Foremen and Field Supervisors maintain supplies and materials to complete each project.
  • Interpret and explain plans and contract terms to staff and clients.
  • Ensure accuracy of time reporting.
  • Process invoices related to jobs/projects.
  • Can operate a computer using email, Windows 10, Excel, Word.
  • Other Duties as assigned

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Ability to communicate effectively with multiple parties (Foreman, Field Supervisor, Co-Project Managers, Vice President, General Manager, Client, Subcontractors, etc.)
  • Demonstrated ability to work as a team member.
  • Previous experience working effectively from blueprints and specifications.
  • Ability to travel, as necessary.
  • Demonstrated telecommunications construction industry experience, both aerial and underground.
  • Experience in conduit, fiber, manhole and hand hole placement.
  • Ability to operate heavy equipment (i.e., backhoe, mini excavator, Plow dozer, arrow board, air compressor.)
  • Experience with 811 throughout West Virginia.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:
  • Held a prior leadership role (Foreman, Field Supervisor, etc.)
  • Valid CDL Class A license.
  • OSHA 30 Certification
  • Competent Person training/certification
  • Trench Safety training/certification
  • Confined Space training/certification
