Position Description
The Executive Assistant will provide high-level administrative support to the President. This role will be
in support of Lumbee Tribe Enterprises, LLC and will include support of Lumbee Tribe Holdings, Inc.

Responsibilities
• Provides high-level administrative support and assistance to the President and/or other assigned
leadership staff, as determined by the President
• Performs clerical and administrative tasks including drafting letters, memos, invoices, reports, and
other documents for senior staff
• Arranges travel and accommodations
• Serve as the program owner for the corporate task management system. Track and manage
organizational tasks
• Collaborate and contribute to the corporate information flow in a timely and accurate manner
• Schedules and attends meetings on behalf of President, taking notes and recording minutes as directed
• Receives incoming communication or memos on behalf of senior staff, reviews contents, determines
importance, and summarizes and/or distributes contents to appropriate staff
• Performs office tasks including maintaining records, ordering supplies, and performing basic
bookkeeping
• Performs additional duties as assigned
Education/Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field required
• At least ten years of related experience required
• 1-2 years of experience as a paralegal; Certified Paralegal (CP) certification from the National
Association of Legal Assistants (NALA) desired
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
• Extensive knowledge of office administration, clerical procedures, and recordkeeping systems
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, and can learn
new software applications
Physical Requirements
• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• On occasion, work hours may extend beyond a normal workday to support meetings and events
