Civil Engineer or Landscape Architect - Project Manager 

Plans, monitors and manages civil engineering projects from initiation through completion. Secures required resources, and uses formal processes and tools to manage resources, budgets, risks and changes. Manages projects to ensure on-time completion according to client specifications and within budgeted costs.
 
Manage the daily work required to drive results and progress on assigned projects. Coordination of team members, including project work planning and scheduling to ensure project results meet Company and client requirements regarding technical quality, reliability, delivery schedules and budget.    
 
Establishes and maintains good working relationships with new and existing clients.  Demonstrates the ability to develop new project opportunities by networking throughout the industry with peer companies and thought leaders.   

Works closely with internal/external technical staff and resources to ensure that project specifications are in line with existing and updated plans and meeting quality standards as assigned by the Company.   

Manages staff and resource requirements for current projects by ensuring that assigned resources are trained and prepared to complete the design, technical and administrative requirements of projects.

Conducts skill assessments before and after projects are completed, identifying project team members that may need additional training and development. 
 
Manages the invoicing process related to projects to ensure timely delivery of bills to clients and the collection of outstanding invoices are communicated to the client.
Ensures that all assigned team members are following PVE, LLC and OSHA mandated safety guidelines.  Ensures that all team members are equipped with the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and have received required training per client requirements.
 
Ensures that client Safety requirements and training are in place before visiting work sites.  Trains and mentor’s staff on specific client Safety rules for work on their sites.
Provides input on performance evaluations for project team members and supports the sourcing and interview process for new staffing initiatives as needed.
Conducts quarterly inspections of equipment, personal protective equipment, company vehicles and office space to ensure that all are compliant with the PVE, LLC safety guidelines.  
Performs other duties as needed and assigned.

Required Skills

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Landscape Architecture or other relatable engineering field of study.

Professional Engineering or Landscape Architecture licensure strongly preferred ; comparable work experience may be considered.

3-5 years of experience in Civil Engineering, Landscape Architecture and/or Project Management in support of various civil, land development projects and initiatives. Solid experience with project management, staff and resource management and development of team members as it relates to skill development, processes, compliance, performance evaluation, team building and staffing.
