Job description

The Sr. Data Analyst will help optimize marketing performance through data led analysis and strategic recommendation. This role is part of a cross-functional team that includes other data analysts, Marketing team members and operational leads- all of whom will be partners in enabling successful campaigns that drive customer growth and engagement. We are looking for someone who can bring data to life through compelling narratives, thrives at problem solving and is continually looking for ways to raise the bar on campaign performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a resource for all marketing and digital analytics to include analytical tool management, set-up and configuration of attribution models illustrating the full customer marketing journey, and holistic dashboard development to support all marketing channels
  • Guide key stakeholders in the definition, implementation and validation of tracking required to be able to understand incremental impacts of marketing campaigns
  • Leverage data from multiple sources to build a deeper understanding of user behavior
  • Create thoughtful dashboards to monitor critical KPIs, traffic trends, conversion behavior and campaign performance
  • Translate complex information into simple terms and present clear and concise recommendations to drive success
  • Conduct regular exploratory analysis on customer and transactional data along with competitive market data to identify bottlenecks and new opportunities for business improvements
  • Assist in the development of strategic recommendations to improve site conversion, marketing effectiveness and growth in respect to company goals
  • Ad hoc analysis as requested by cross-functional teams within the organization
 
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree with major area of concentration in Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or other related field
  • 5+ years of experience in developing and applying marketing analytics
  • Experience using SQl or BigQuery on datasets
  • Experience with digital marketing measurement methods, concepts and social media platforms
  • Expert user of Google Analytics with demonstrated knowledge of Google Tag Manager; including implementation of event tracking, custom tag development, etc
  • Strong quantitative experience, with the ability to generate insights and solutions from large data sets through visual storytelling and strategy
  • Experience with Business Intelligence/Data Visualization Tools like Google Data Studio, Tableau, Sisense, etc
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with Hubspot preferred
